England win on penalties -- of course, three of the PK goals were by Spurs players.

I am done on the right side of the bracket. I had Spain vs Colombia as the semis.

I have France an Brazil in the semis, with France eventually winning the whole thing.

Yep, I had France vs. Brazil and Spain vs. Germany, with France beating Spain in the Finals.

So for our Fantasy NFL draft order, we randomly choose teams based on the FIFA top 12 or something. I got France. I wasn't much of a soccer fan prior to these games, but since I have been locked in and finding myself interested. If France didn't have some young exciting players, I'm not sure I'd care...even if my NFL fantasy pick counted on it.

France is fun as hell. Pogba, Kante, Mbappe, Griezmann, Varane, etc. Those guys are all some of the best young players in the world.

Hell, how many teams would Benzema and Lacazaette start for, or at least be a key sub for?

Uruguay had no shot without Cavani. I have a weird feeling Belgium wins here.

Close, but I would say no. Fellaini and Witsel kind of ruin Belgium for me.

BTW, how the fuck does Fox Sports take Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd from ESPN, but not get Ian Darke for the World Cup?

That's like buying the rights to Phantom Menace and Last Jedi, but not buying Empire Strikes Back

Ian Darke had an incredible call for Donovan's goal against Algeria, but his call for Wambach's goal against Brazil was just ridiculously good.

I'm pissed at the whole Benzama situation. He would have been incredible out there instead of Giroud but after all the BS in 2014 I don't think he's ever going to play for France again. As much as I like Giroud, the guy is built to come off the bench and score a late header. His finishing outside of 10 feet with his feet is awful. I'd much rather have Fekir out there. I have no idea how a starting striker can have 0 goals in the world cup...

Every single player who's seen time for Croatia at this World Cup has played for either Dinamo Zagreb or Hajduk Split. About half of them came from Dinamo's youth academy.

I really hope France takes it. Been supporting them since I was 7 years old (1996). Even though we're stacked right now, there is no way I can have hope. 2006 as well as 2016, we almost made it, but then got beaten by penalties, and in extra time. The Croatia front line is excellent as well. Really smart players who can carve up a defense with their passing and can actually finish.

On a side note, the Premiere League allstar game on Saturday should be fun if both teams put effort into the game. I really wish the NBA would do a 3rd place series. Or even game.
