WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lol, WWE will catch heat for this, it's basically how I learned, but you see Roman's boots get out the truck and run, and how it was edited before Braun took the stretcher and wheeled the dummy in place of Roman off the ledge.

The internet is why you can't pull off stunts like this.

I mean, it's not like we thought it was real to begin with. I'm fine with giving them credit for actually doing something creative for once, ridiculous though it obviously was.

Oh of course not, but they still have to be perfect about it, one little error, well actually two lol can mess up the stunt. When I watch shit like that, I expect it to be like a movie, nicely done and believable in a way.

I didn't notice the errors when I was watching live, although I was high so that may have had something to do with it. Either way, I don't really see it as much of an issue. You find errors like that in movies even, and so I'm willing to cut them a bit of slack for not being totally error free in a complicated stunt filming, something that isn't the WWE's forte.

The Errors weren't that obvious. I was watching to see how it was staged during the replays.

It wa s still a better production than those old superdave stunts )

the biggest mistake in my opinion was the positioning of the stretcher when they cut back to roman as it was between the dry dock and the pillar even though the stretch landed between the truck and the pillar

all I know is the segment brought me great joy

There was talk of Styles moving over to Raw, so I'm glad that he seems to be staying put. I worry he'd get lost in the shadow of Roman Reigns over there, but he's the main event player on Smackdown.

I'm hoping to see Zayn, New Day, Gallows/Anderson, and Owens move to Smackdown after seeing who all slid to Raw.

I hope Smackdown has some awkward moments where guys show up and Daniel Bryan comes out and says .. uh dude your on Raw now

I could see Enzo and Cass making the switch.

I think the shake-up basically strengthened my feelings for each show. Smackdown looks really solid, and promises for some good in-ring action with some of my favorite wrestlers while Raw is just a spectacle.

Raw still has guys that I like, Wyatt, Cesaro, Hardys, Balor, Miz, Joe, Rollins, but with Lesnar and Reigns controlling the main event for the foreseeable future, they'll be footnotes.

Really looking forward to Styles, Owens, Zayn, and Nakamura controlling the scene for a while on Smackdown.

Owens had full control of the crowd on smacktalk and followed that up with an excellent appearance on Smacktalk

Corbin did a good job too pointing out that he had destroyed Ambrose last week and Owens lost to Ambrose the night before

I liked how Owens threw his shoes on the table letting Shane and Daniel know he was watching.
reminded shane that they drafted him and quickly established he was only there because of his title which Shane quickly confirmed.
He also implied that Daniel brought in Zayn just to spite him.
Owens then told shane and Daniel that he didn't need them to make opportunities for him. He will make his own.
Shane and Daniel were very uneasy. especially after Owens pointed out he had beaten AJ style both o Raw and Smackdown before the draft
I do hope Owens is gonna be on smackdown for the rest of the year and not a 3 week rental.

AJ clearly reestablished himself as a face on Smackdown. (even though he is over either way) ad has gone from malcontent to model employee.

I think Shane will find it a bit more difficult to get Owens to fall in line.

Some early predictions

I think Owens and AJ will have a 2-3 pay per view feud with AJ winning and Owens moving on to a program against Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. the only singles championship he hasn't won yet and then a program with Nakamura . Who looks like he is set for a program with Dolph.

I just wonder which guy they line up for Randy after the House of Horrors. will it be Corbin?

The WWE is really doing a great job of convincing me that I don't really have to watch Raw. They traded away my two favorite performers on Raw (Owens and Zayn) and replaced them with one of my least favorite performers (Ambrose) and a guy who can cut a promo but can't follow it up in the ring (Wyatt).

About the only thing on Raw that interests me is the tag division. And the cruiserweights, I guess, although that's more of a 205 Live thing.

Yeah I agree. I really want to tune out Raw completely, but I like Angle, Sasha, and The Hardy's. Im ready for Lesnar to go, Reigns to disappear. One day I'd hope to see Roode on Raw holding the main strap, and AJ on Smackdown holding the main strap. Roode sells very good and he'll be honored for it by HHH on the main card soon. They want to milk one or two more Takeovers featuring the Glorious one.

Smackdown seems to be shaping up better than expected and even before. No complaints literally regarding the 'B show'.

Around the WWE
- Mauro Ranullo apparently has left the WWE . Apparently as a result of JBL Hazing JBL has been accused of bullying by multiple personalities and wrestler over the years. WWE is burying this with a non disclosure agreement . Mauro is under contract until August.

-Apparently Maryse sent nude photos out to multiple WWE wrestlers.

- One fan Created a petition to have Braun Strowman fired. the fan said Braun crossed the line and should be fired for putting Roman into the hospital.. 1 thousand people signed the petition . In response Braun tweeted he will do what he wants to.

-Kurt Angle says that since he broke his neck in 2003 he has not been able to lift more than 185 LBS. Angle is also suffering from nerve damage but is hoping for some wrestling spots in the future

- You Tube is no longer providing advertising for wrestling videos . AIW and a few other independents impacted

-Gronk may join the WWE after he retires.

Not WWE-related, but apparently Katsuyori Shibata sustained a serious head injury during a match today and it could be a career-ender. At first a lot of people thought the injury was a work, but it seems to be generally considered real now.

Finn Balor has been pulled from live events because of a concussion suffered from a forearm from Jinder Mahal.

Personally, I think Balor should be in the cruiserweight division.
