US Title Open Challenge - Bobby Roode (c) Vs. TBA
In a perfect world, we'd get ECIII or Ricochet here, but this is WWE so we'll probably get Ziggler. Either way, Roode retains.
Winner: Bobby Roode

Women's Royal Rumble Match

I predict a lot of botched spots and a few of these chicks damn near killing themselves going over the top rope. Only way Asuka doesn't win this is if Ronda Rousey is in it, and I don't think she is.
Winner: Asuka

Men's Royal Rumble Spots

I predict a lot of disappointment, as the fans keep waiting for the Daniel Bryan entry that never happens and whoever comes out at thirty pays the price for it.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

---

Bold, I know, to pick two foreign winners for the Rumbles, but I'm going for it anyway. That will lead us to Nakamura/Styles at 'Mania, a nice smark counterpoint to the bound to be shitty spectacle of the inevitable Lesnar/Reigns.

I was really disappointed with the AJ match ending. they could of done so many things that led to an AJ win.

Overall I thought it was a solid PPV, but felt predictable as always.

Brock over Kane was a lock. Hearing Braun scream " you didn't beat me, made me cringe"

AJ was a given, but part of me hoped they went with the co-champs. That could have been fun.

Should have had a better challenger for Roode IMO. That would have been a great way to get eyes on the pre-show going forward.

Both tag matches sucked. Is the tag division where people go when they don't have creative for you?

Both RR's were solid. Trish was a nice touch to the women's match but Torrie & Kelly Kelly were awful.

Rousey at the end was lame to me. Smile, show curves, point at sign. Joan Jett song was awful. It felt like "I am a feminist", not "Im here to kick ass"

Rousey used Bad Reputation throughout her MMA career. It fits who she is, doesn’t care about what you think of her. She left on 2 bad losses so the “I’m gonna kick your ass” persona needs to be built back up.

That was a well-booked show. No real complaints about any of the winners, and I think it sets up Wrestlemania season pretty well.

Nakamura/Styles at 'Mania is something many fans have only dreamed of. Hopefully it is given the time it deserves. These two could have a great 30 minute match.

I thought the tag matches were worked well enough, but the booking was odd in the case of the Smackdown tag match, and the Raw tag match was simply hurt by it's place on the card.

The Usos have really transformed themselves into a tag team that people care about regardless of if they are heels or faces. It helps that creative has finally allowed them to have personalities instead of just being a generic Samoan tag team.

I really like Chad Gable, and I guess him and Benjamin losing 2-0 in a best of 3 match is the only minor complaint I have. They've been developing them as a nice heel team over the last month, and I guess they were just too short on time given that there were two matches that would each be an hour long.

I think The Bar is great. I love Cesaro, and this tag team has breathed life into Sheamus, who I hadn't cared about in years. I'd love to see Cesaro break out on his own, but with Sheamus's back problems, his days as a full-time singles competitor are likely over, so they'll probably give The Bar a nice, lengthy run as tag competitors.

Rollins and Jordan needed to drop the titles to advance their storyline. Rollins is debuting new entrance music, and just brought back the Curb Stomp err Blackout, he's getting a major push. Not sure what that will result in as we move to Wrestlemania, or if it will even involve Jordan/Angle, but I'm a big Seth Rollins guy, so I'm excited. Would love to see him square off with Kurt Angle.

Roode/Rawley was on the pre-show just to give Roode a win, and get him on the show. I don't think they needed a better opponent, the pre-show isn't meant to further storylines.

Brock defended, no problem with that, and as indifferent as I am to the inevitable Reigns match up that we've known about for over a year, it'll be nice to have a the champ on TV every week after Wrestlemania.

Rousey debut was cool. (I liked the music, Joan Jett is bad ass) Not sure who she faces though. She's such a big name, you'd assume she ends up on Raw, but Asuka moving to Smackdown right now would be surprising as well.

She's fighting Charolette. Zero chance she fights anyone else.

That's the match up that makes the most sense to me as well. It just doesn't seem like the WWE way to have their big-time celebrity (most star power on the roster male or female) to go to Smackdown.

Maybe Rousey is going to take the Raw title at Elimination Chamber, and fight Asuka at Mania?

In terms of star power though, because this is a multi-year exclusive deal for Rousey, putting her on Smackdown is going to be a massive ratings draw.

I know, and Smackdown is my preferred show, so I'd love it. Just seems out of character for them considering they've never really seemed to care.

EDIT: Current rumor is Rousey/? vs HHH/Steph

Ugh, after the four horsewoman tease, I fucking hope not.

I could see that from the agreed nod in the ring between Asuka and Rousey but I don't think they want either woman to lose so they're probably going to sacrifice Charlotte and Bliss.

I HATED the 20 times Rousey pointed at the Wrestlemania sign. I also think her acting is going to need major work.

With Ricochet, EC3, and War Machine all making NXT debuts shortly, plus TM-61 returning, hopefully that means we'll be getting a few "call-ups" following the Rumble. Otherwise, it'll be a little crowded.

I'm looking for Sanity, AOP, and the Velveteen Dream.

AOP could challenge the Usos on Smackdown

Sanity feuds with Balor Club

Velveteen Dream would be great against the Miz

I have no idea how likely each of these are to happen, but I'd love to see it.

Good PPV, but Lesnar matches continue to be the worst match on card.

As much as I'm not a fan of how they portray Reigns, at least the belt will be on TV every week, will be defended at every Raw PPV, and he can put on high quality matches.

Lesnar has had 5 televised matches since he beat Goldberg plus two matches on a house show tour over the summer. His only good matches were a non-title match against Styles, and the 4 way match at Summerslam.
