FYI, if you are into wrestling games at all, the new Fire Pro is out on steam and it is incredible.
 
So, Reigns loses to Strowman at GBOF and is rewarded with a #1 contenders match against Joe? Lol ok, WWE.

Also, wtf are they doing not having Goldust/Truth or Balor/Samson on the PPV, but rather ending those feuds on free tv? I mean, did GBOF really need that throw away match between Slater and Hawkins over two feuds that have actually been built up on TV for over a month? Wrestling is so fucking stupid these days.

The Slater/Hawkins match was just thrown in to give the audience something to watch while they set up things backstage. Would you really want Balor to be in that spot where they didn't even show the match ending?
 
I am guessing Stroman will be added as a triple threat for the contenders match or inserted as a triple threat in the summer slam event.

My personal hope is that he comes back next week and destroys both Reigns and Joe during their match, which prompts Angle to make him the number one contender.

It won't happen, but that would be awesome.

Also, reports are that Styles won the US Title from Owens because he's got a DVD coming out in the near future and they wanted a final banner moment for him to close out the DVD. My guess is Owens takes that title back tonight or sometime soon, as they were clearly lining him up to have a run with it.

it also appears that there is traction for an Omega vs Styles match... even though Owens has repeatedly outperformed them both in the same ring.

Lance storm said he wouldn't be surprised if they put the belt on AJ to generate hype since Omega also holds the same title for NWJP

Omega has turned down multiple WWE offers. ( mostly out of fear he wouldn't be used properly like in PWG) so him seeing his indie pals all out in the big lights might be the hook to bring him in
 
btw whats the odds that Angle is coming out of the closet next Monday?

if him and someone else comes out and says " I did drugs" I would be very disappointed since that's a mjor focus of his DVD being released.

Probably gonna be some sort of bullshit with Dixie Carter.

ETA: Could also be some sort of affair storyline with Angle and Steph, which leads the the rumored HHH/Angle match at Summerslam.

No, I guess not. Would've preferred they cut some of the other fluff out, along with the Slater/Hawkins match, and give one of Goldust/Truth or Baylor/Samson at least 5-10 minutes. Or have it one or both on the preshow since there was only one match on there anyway. Just irks me they use Raw as a platform to build up two solid mid card fueds that didn't even get to conclude on a PPV card.
