WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Finn Balor has been pulled from live events because of a concussion suffered from a forearm from Jinder Mahal.

Personally, I think Balor should be in the cruiserweight division.
Personally I think Jinder should be terminated immediately, that was a hellacious shot by him. You could tell Balor was fucked. His name is much to big for the cruiserweight.

I wouldn't say he should be terminated immediately, because anyone can make one mistake. That said, it was clearly Jinder's fault. He threw the elbow too high and too hard.

Torn has been all over the "Balor to cruiserweight division" movement.

He's a main event player, it's simply not going to happen.

then it looks like Balor is gonna have a short WWE career

Well, if he continues to work with unsafe performers like Jinder..

Jinder also looks roided out, like that last unsafe roided individual... Ryback

Wwe would punish RTruth for doing shit off the script, I wonder if Jinder gets some heat for almost breaking Finn's skull

I mean look at this...

Also worth noting that Balor worked in NXT for over a year with no major injuries. Seems like he's just been really unlucky on the main roster. The concussion was obviously not his fault.

Looks like finn is out of position to me.

Finn is just too fragile to deal with the heavyweights on a nightly basis.

Jinder should be selling hard hits especially against smaller guys.

That's just not what I'm seeing at all, so I guess it's best to just leave it at that rather than beat our heads against the wall.

Finn seemed fine against Owens and Joe in NXT, seemed fine against Reigns, and was fine in New Japan as a main event player. He'll be fine. Like I said, neither injury was the result of his opponent being larger.

Owens and Joe are exceptional workers. Finn was a 3 time JUNIOR Heavyweight Champion

In the WWE he will be facing guys over 210 on a regular basis.

You cant really fault jinder coming off a match with mojo Rowley the night before for throwing up a stiff forearm.

Anyways that angle shows Balor leading with his head. and the forearm was up before finn made contact.

does the same forearm from Neville cause the same issue.
? I don't think so.

Anyways if Balor is so good he could certainly main event as a cruiserweight.

It's laughable to blame Finn and his size for him tearing his labrum on a Seth Rollins (smaller guy) powerbomb into the barricade, and for getting a concussion on a stiff forearm. Yes, it easily could have been Neville or any other cruiserweight giving out a concussion on a stuff hit.

I'm curious as to who all these bigger guys are that Finn can't wrestle on a regular basis, because there's really nothing out there to back that up.

I mean, the shoulder injury is strictly on Finn. The labrum tore as a result of the separated shoulder, which is how he landed. Seth has zero ability to control anything but the location/force, not how someone turns into a barricade.

I've watched that Mahal spot back, really stiff on Mahal. Really confused as to how exactly that happened. Usually if it's stiff, it ends up being wrist/forarm. How he got him with the elbow? No fucking clue.

Him and Rollins, though. Tons of miles before coming here. It's the indy curse.

I wasn't saying the shoulder injury was Rollins's fault, just that it was a dangerous spot performed by a guy who is hardly a big guy, which was Torn's concern for Balor, that he can't hang with the big guys without getting injured. However, his only real injury in WWE was while wrestling Rollins.

Dash Wilder of the Revival is apparently out at least eight weeks with a broken jaw. I guess we'll have to wait for a TLC match between them, the Hardys, and Cesaro/Sheamus.
