Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Gotta love how they used the exact same finish as the last match. Also, Reigns kicking out of two Styles Clashes and after all those chair shots was fucking ridiculous. Super Cena 2.0 cofirmed.

yeah cause Styles kickouts were all reasonable

Goosebumps. Give the man his title back, dammit.

If only I could eye roll hard enough. Such a smark comment.

It's true, though. He kicked out of two Styles Clashes, one of which was on a fucking steel chair. That's the kind of move that could get a ten count in a Last Man Standing match, yet Roman kicked out of it. He also just shrugged off about ten steel chair shots, and that's not even getting into him kicking out of the Gallows/Anderson finisher earlier. It was just ridiculous. Reigns is basically everything people have hated about Cena and his booking for years, but without Cena's charisma to compensate. It's just not fun when one guy looks that strong at the expense of everyone else, especially far more talented guys like Styles.

I do appreciate him adding a few new moves to his list, though. Tonight we saw a vintage Triple H flying knee (Reigns botched it, but points for effort) and that Razor's Edge into a sit down powerbomb. I think that brings his total move list up to about six, but it's progress.

As far as the main event goes, it was good until the end. The ending was just uninspired. It was exactly what they did at Payback, and it was insanely telegraphed. I continue to be disappointed that Gallows and Anderson are being made to look like a couple of bitches every time they cross paths with Roman Reigns, and it continued in the main event. It's hard to take them seriously when they just continually look like fools and eat superman punches.

Best match of the show was easily the IC title match. Three of the top five guys in the company, though, so it's not exactly a surprise that they put together something awesome.

Hopefully Rollins takes the belt back soon and we can move on to more interesting feuds. He won't though, because LOLROMANWINS.

If Roman retains vs Rollins I'll cancel my subscription.. I mean it this time

Zero chance that Reigns drops the belt before Summerslam unless Vince does a complete 180 on him. Even then, he's probably going to stick to his guns until at least then.

Dream scenario for me is Owens winning MitB while Summerslam builds to Cena/Reigns, which will be absolutely shit on by Brooklyn. Reigns wins (it would be dumb to give Cena his record only to lose it a minute later), but as he's exiting the ring, Owens attacks him, powerbombs him onto the ring apron, and then rolls him in for the pin. The crowd goes nuts. Everyone goes home happy. Owens carries the strap to Wrestlemania and drops it to Zayn, who won the Rumble.

I wouldn't mind seeing this play out, as I'm a huge KO fan, but where's Rollins in all of this? I know he just held the belt before injury, but it would be nice to see him get a legit solo run with it. No Authority henchmen, no J&J security, no HHH & Stephanie... just a real, true run with Rollins winning matches on his own merit and showcasing his true talent. I might check out if I were told that Rollins would come back last night but not hold the belt for the next calendar year.

And I couldn't agree more with your Reigns takes. Him kicking out of the Styles Clash on the chair especially was a f'n joke. What he was kicking out of last night was something you would see out of The Undertaker at a Wrestlemania match. Just completely over the top ridiculous. I'm fine with Reigns being a main eventer, but for the love of god the guy is not worth making everyone else around him look inferior.

Reigns is really working as champ for me right now. He's the heel champ we've all been waiting for.

We all complain that heel champions never win clean and come away looking weak. They're booking Reigns strong (clearly), he's getting boo'ed, and the guys he faces are way over. What else do we need?

He's shown with Styles that he can put on a great match (back to back MotY quality) with the right opponent, and luckily Rollins can run with the best of them.

I wouldn't call the Payback match a MotY candidate. It was solid, but not amazing. It wasn't even the best match on the card. For that matter, the main event last night wasn't the best match on the card either.

Eh... Opinions... I agree the IC Title match was the best match, but they were all great in my opinion, that's all I wanted to get across.

Rollins came out as a heel and Rollins will be facing Reigns in MITB.

so MITB Qualifiers
Zayn Over Sheamus
Segues into Sheamus Crews possible feud
Cesaro over Miz
Jericho over Crews
Ambrose over Ziggler
Styles breaks ties with the Club
Owens over Styles
two more qualifiers TBD
Possible candidates Rusev, Cena, Orton, Corbin, Del Rio, , perhaps a surprise Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt (if he can wrestle yet)

I thought it was a good Move to get Styles out of the tournament right away. Styles hass already lost to Owens so now downgrade there.
Styles needs a feud he will win

Unfortunately it looks like Ziggler and Corbin are still feuding. hopefully though Corbin starts a program with someone else and the Ziggler angle is put on the back burner.

So with Cesaro, KO, and Zayn all in the MitB... that leaves Miz without a feud for the IC Title. Maybe this is where Styles comes in to play to not only win his first feud, but also his first title. Styles split from The Club was also as anticlimactic as it could get.

Not really much of a Crews fan... he seems a little corny to me, but at least they are actually doing something with him. Guy has been little more than an afterthought since he made the move to the main roster.

Kind of confused why they went back to Rollins being the smug, arrogant heel he was before he got hurt. Rollins as a heel was manufactured naturally the first time, but now it's like they're forcing it on us. The fans just want to cheer him, and he could be the top face in the company right now in terms of crowd reaction. But... WWE gon WWE.

He seemed pretty true to character in my opinion. he stated his position pretty well and he was absolutely right.
