WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I only watched the last segment, and I'm glad I only wasted 10 minutes with that. It took all of 24 hours for Vince to neuter Strowman. Takes a clean loss to Reigns at Fastlane, and then follows it up on Raw with him running away like a coward from The Undertaker while Roman shows no fear. Just awful booking. Fucking WWE is just pure garbage. I'll watch Wrestlemania because what the hell else is there to do on a Sunday night in early April, but even with a fully healthy roster this year they still make terrible booking decision after terrible booking decision that takes away any excitement for the event.

Yeah, the WWE did their typical heel booking with Strowman. You build a guy up as a monster or a badass only to neuter him before he can get out of the midcard by feeding him to Cena or, now, Reigns. Poor Rusev got fed to both of them. Owens too, but at least he kind of got to win his feud with Reigns even though he was made to look like Reigns' bitch the entire time.

Now we're going to get yet another big Wrestlemania match where the WWE pretends Reigns is the good guy while an entire arena boos the everloving fuck out of him. Third year in a row now. Thanks, Vince!

I also hope the Orlando crowd absolutely massacres the abomination of a main event that is Goldberg/Lesnar. I would have been fine with that match if it weren't for the title. Hell, I even could have lived with it being the main event despite the fact that Goldberg could never wrestle for more than two minutes even in his prime and Lesnar has been the laziest fucking worker on the roster for the past year. But for the Universal Title? I hope the crowd shits on that match every bit as badly as they did the last time these two guys faced off at 'Mania.

Again, I love Stephanie McMahon

Why? She's awful. She makes every segment she's a part of about herself rather than the performers, but she rarely ever has to eat shit for it like her father and brother did. A heel who never suffers any consequences for their assholery is a bad heel.

I watched that segment as well and it seemed like the crowd was really feeling Undertaker VS Strowman and then Reign's music hits and everyone Goes insane with hate and disdain.

Also idk why you make Strowman look so weak but then 1 second later Roman gets to walk out into another moment that was handpicked and specifically created for him and only him to get over. Roman "lost" the feud with KO by default because the interference caused him to lose against Owens. But for all intents and purposes Roman won that feud too.

It's like RAW is produced every single week JUST to cater to how to get Roman over

This is worse than the Authority shit bro. At least Rollins, HHH, Kane, Big Show and J&J security were funny to watch. Every week of Roman is flat out boring. Dude is cool but he has no personality and magically gets a title shot every few months no matter what

I love it when she calls the fans stupid and isn't afraid to take shots at that loser Punk.

I'm not the biggest Punk fan in the world, but he made a lot of good points when he left that still hold true today. Owens jobbing to Goldberg so that Goldberg could main event Wrestlemania despite only working a couple of shows a year pretty much mirrors Punk being forced to do the same with the Rock. It's taking two guys who carried the water all year and taking their title away from them right before the biggest show of the year so it can be a part of a match that didn't even need the title to begin with.

He was right, but he's still a little ***** for taking his ball and going home.

so does Asuka show up at wrestlemania and win the womens rumble for a title?

I think I'm just going to root for reigns from now on to save my sanity. If you continue to force stuff down my throat, eventually you just like the taste...

I'm gonna give it an honest try next week.. I mean, we can all relate to roman...

My boss always promotes me.. he's constantly giving me great opportunities.. he had me present to the CEO and a bunch of other executives.. I didn't really say anything, but I probably deserve more opportunities.. keep em coming boss!

But seriously.. what if undertaker beats reigns..

We've been built up to believe reigns is the only full time talent who can win a feud.. how great would it be if another part timer buries the full time talent..

Haha this company is so stupid.. I'm starting to understand why people make fun of me for watching this crap..

Keeps watching.

The sad part is that it's blindingly obvious that the best part of Raw for the next several weeks leading up to 'Mania is going to be Owens and Jericho. That feud really should have been for the Universal Title, or even for both the US and Universal Titles. You could have had Owens walk out of 'Mania a made man holding both belts. Instead, we're going to get a dog shit Goldberg/Lesnar main event at Wrestlemania and Owens/Jericho will be firmly in the mid-card.

Also, can you imagine how great it could have been had Jericho won the Rumble, and then thrown the Festival of Friendship to celebrate he and Owens main eventing 'Mania, only for Owens to just absolutely destroy him? That would have been even more amazing than the Festival of Friendship we actually got, and that was the best segment on Raw in ages.

So I went through Raw on DVR to catch the Neville/Swann match since I heard it was really good. It was hilarious before the match when Austin Aries was talking about his package and Graves was just sitting there cracking up. He just couldn't keep a straight face.

I was so expecting AJ Styles to have an HBK/Macho Man type of showing at Mania... but boy I don't care for him vs Shane. This card in general is hot garbage, and I'm glad I stream this bullshit in the 1st place, so I really shouldn't complain because I don't pay, but I'd still like to see the writing done right.

Owens (c) vs Jericho (c) should've been done. Especially after that segment.

This is probably the most predicting Wrestlemania of all time, Roman obviously beats Taker, Owens beats Jericho, Lesnar beats Goldberg, I'm just not sure on Bray and Orton.

They're going to sling this bag of shit around, I can't believe it.

Only way I let myself get sucked in this time is if the Hardy's delete the tag division and win both sets of titles. Then I'll be entertained every week into a part of the show.

I went ahead and watched the Goldberg/ lesnar promo on raw. It looked like Goldberg messed up his head turn. it is pretty bad for when Lesnar can do an f5 faster than the guy can turn his head to be "distracted"

Another Kicker is that WWE just spent two years having everyone under the sun kick out of everyone elses finishing moves. multiple times.

yet we have two guys who are a combined 90 years old who are gonna race to finish each other with two moves.

and a guy who has been booked strong against Undertaker as part of Wyatt family and made Reigns Eat a turnbuckle just walks away at the mere presence of the Undertaker.
Jericho and Owens are the only good thing Raw has going for it right now. Fortunately they are too good at what they do to get buried by Vince.

The Corbin vs Ambrose feud is gonna be great. Corbin used a security guard, a Lead pipe and a forklift all in one segment.

The AJ/Shane stuff makes zero sense. Wasn't Shane the one who said AJ should be #1 contender? Why is his beef with Shane, and not Bryan?

Owens/Jericho for the Universal title should have been the plan all along, they are the hottest thing going. Jericho didn't even need to hold the US Title going in, Owens could have cost him that in the build-up. Probably to Zayn, who then could have added a stellar US Title match to the card.

I can't wait until after Wrestlemania when the part-timers disappear (well, except for our Universal Champ...)
