The first is the addition of the VIP system that tracks tendencies, tactics and nuances of gamers, enabling you to challenge and practice against a computer version of your biggest rivals (or even some of the best online gamers across the country), helping you practice your game and find the breaking point of your opponent's defense.

The next NFL feature now making its NBA debut is The Crib. You will now be able to buy music, play mini-games, and pimp out your NBA palace like a true superstar should.

And speaking of NBA superstars, the 24/7 mode has now evolved to the big time to give your created player a chance to compete in NBA training camps in hopes of making a team and elevating your game to elite status. Score enough points and one day you might even land your own shoe contract.

It's looking decent so far, I'm a Live person myself, but 2k6 does look nice.

NBA Live will be better. It always is.

I was very dissapointed in both series's last year. I wont buy either this year, but will rent.

They better allow more than 27 team names in NCAA basketball on EA Sports or Ill flip my wig.

I got Live last year, but im considering getting the 2k6. I like the gameplay better and the new one sounds like it has some good new features.

Those better be early dev shots, cause those look GAY!
