So I am just going to bite the bullet and buy one of these damn things today.

What is everyone's opinions on the PS4 or Xbox One? I am basically using it for games, netflix/Amazon & blu ray. I will basically mainly be playing FPS (COD type) or sports. I do not give one damn about RPG's.

I know the PS4 have sold a ton more. Better graphics? But Xbox One better "media center".

Leaning towards PS4 now. Trying to look up articles on both.

Please quote me if you are giving a response, as I do not Watch this thread.

COD specifically is getting all the DLC a month or so earlier on Ps4 than on XBOX One, so if you care about that then you should go that way.

It sounds like most of the games you play are available anywhere, so I don't think you could go wrong either way. Maybe just find the cheapest bundle?

Where do your friends play?

This..

It's all about what you're friends play on..

Personally, I've not found a reason to buy a console yet considering all these games are on PC, even Final Fantasy and Street Fighter.

I don't mean to sound like a PC gaming elitist, but, this might be the lowest point ever for console gaming in my opinion, and I used to love console gaming. I just don't see the point anymore though, especially for first person shooters.

Half & half.

I heard the PS4 generally looks better in most games and runs smoother? The $10 cheaper online play.

Maybe I will just get the COD bundle for PS4. Thank ya.

I used to PC game a while back. Liked it a lot. But now it's just another thing to do. And not going to build a PC now. Anything I can't do on my PS4 (netflix & amazon pretty much, is what I mean) I can do on my Chromebook or Surface Pro 3.

Thanks for the input, though.

It's basically just a thing to do when I am bored and I am tired of my PS3 freezing and crap.

Only thing I hate about my Xbox One is you have to download every game to the hard drive.

I did a ton of research and bought a PS4. I mainly play sports games and GTA. There are pros and cons of both.

Most of my friends are on PS4, plus being an xbox360 guy previously, I miss playing baseball games.

But the main reason was that my friends have the PS4.

If I had to pick a console, it'd be the PS4.

Welp, picked up the PS4 last night after working over Gamestop people. They are in such desperate need of customers, you can pretty much talk them into anything. It was like I was in the Middle East bartering for a PS4.

Got the COD bundle. So willing to play with some of you if you own the game. Do not own any other game, at the moment.

What did you end up paying?

Traded in a PS3 for wayyyy over what it is worth.

Anyone know where I can get good PS4 headphones that are pretty cheap? I know Amazon, but not sure if there is a better place.

I currently have the P11's from my PS3, but how they connect and shit, it's weird that the mic volume control controls both of the game volume & mic. Also, it doesn't get very loud in them. I don't need them blasting. But the x12's for xbox 360 were awesome for the cheap price ($50).

The P11's just disappoint.
