Meanwhile, the Rockies are on pace for their most wins in franchise history and have the 4th best record in baseball. D-Backs are on pace for their second most wins since 2003 and have the 5th best record in baseball. Both are 15.5 and 16 GB behind the Dodgers and have to play for their season against each other in a 1 game playoff in early October. Really sucks for them.

In 1993, I remember someone on the Braves were asked about the Giants (who were 77-38 at the time) and how dominating they were. He said (and I have never forgotten this) EVERY TEAM goes through a slump and they have not had theirs yet. The Braves won the division (the year before the wild card). This is why I hope the Indians just start playing their best ball when it matters.
