Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lot of this boils down to Curry vs Nash.

Offensively, Nash never averaged more than 14 shots per game, but those were very efficient shots in his day or anyone else's for that matter. In the years we're talking about, you're looking at about 11-12 FGA / 36.

He's giving you 16.5P / 11A / 3.3R with 0.5 STL / 0.1 BLK / 3.6 TOV

By contrast, Curry 2016:

31.7 PPG / 7.0 APG / 5.7 REB with 2.3 STL / 0.2 BLK / 3.5 TOV

I think Curry might be worth it, and I do think he'd get quite a few attempts per game, given whose going to be protecting the rim in any of these games.

Also defensively, there's no contest between Curry/Nash, Steph is the better defender.

Not saying Curry is better than Nash; but I am saying that in this context, this was my reason for having Curry 1A and Nash 1B.

Magic - best passer and ball handler ever, became decent shooter torward end of career, mismatch nightmare
West - Dead eye shooter, top 5 shooter of all time, if he only played with a 3 point line era
Lebron - passing is the key to championships, 2nd best passer of all time, loads the team for open looks
KG - Defense and able to shoot from 3, 7 foot length too
Hakeen - most under rated player of all time, does everything well include shoot, really spread the floor and defends too

Awesome team, Lee..

But one thing stands out to me.. :chuckle:

Magic - ....and ball handler ever....

Love Kyrie, but he is not Magic, and i know what you are saying, but Magic was just special on a whole new level.

'07 Dwyane Wade - $3
'14 Kevin Durant - $2
'94 Scottie Pippen - $1
'13 LeBron James - $5
'00 Shaquille O'Neal - $3

Position less basketball around Shaq. Have fun trying to score on this lineup.

Prime O'Neal tears apart everyone but Wilt (who I doubt would be interested in this hypothetical time machine basketball tourney). Can we please imagine 6'7'' - 210 lb Bill Russell trying to keep 7'2'' - 320 lb Shaquille O'Neal away from the basket? He'd have to jump on and ride him like a remora.

Cool lineup but it doesn't follow the rules. you have to pick a PG, SG, SF, PF, and C. You have 3 SF's and a C, no PG or PF.

Curry, West, Durant, Nowitzki, and Russell.

I'll just shoot everyone out of the gym, have the greatest defender and rebounder of all time to clean up the mess, and have a ton of money to spare on my bench :).

Your 5 vs. my 5 would be the ultimate test of "does great offense really beat great defense?"

'16 Stephen Curry - $3
'93 Michael Jordan - $5
'94 Scottie Pippen - $1
'03 Tim Duncan - $5
'60 Bill Russell - $1

'07 Steve Nash - $1
'88 Clyde Drexler - $1
'94 Scottie Pippen - $1
'04 Kevin Garnett - $1
'82 Moses Malone - $1

I'm keeping the change and going to lunch.

PG- '89 John Stockton- $2
SG-'93 Michael Jordan- $5
SF- '81 Julius Erving- $3
PF- '07 Dirk Nowitzki- $3
C- Hakeem Olajuwon- $2

That's one sexy team. I wish Kyrie was an option, but it was a fun game to play..never the less!

Paul
Jordan
Durant
LeBron
Garnett

You're not scoring a point here, they're running you out of the gym and have a plethora of scoring options

I could do better though

Magic
Jordan
LeBron
Duncan
Kareem

And I'm making Dan Gilbert pay the luxury tax for it.

Point Guard
'63 Oscar Robertson - $4

Shooting Guard
'93 Michael Jordan - $5

Small Forward
'94 Scottie Pippen - $1

Power Forward
'90 Karl Malone - $4

Center
'60 Bill Russell - $1

Going for athleticism and defense. I want to absolutely shut down any all perimeter movement with Pippen, Jordan and Robertson and I want my bigs to be agile enough to be able to get out and run the break with them. Not a lot of shooting on this team, but with defense like this you don't need it. we'll be grinding opposing teams down with our size and strength and punish them on the boards and the fast breaks.

Make your starting lineup. You have to choose one player from each position but you don't have to play them at that position. Theoretically, you can take LeBron James and play him at point guard if you want, although you'd still have to find a spot in the lineup for your actual drafted point guard.

Also, if you want to specify a different year for a player, then go for it. I just listed what I personally thought was each player's best season.

Point Guard
'87 Magic Johnson - $5
'63 Oscar Robertson - $4
'16 Stephen Curry - $3
'89 John Stockton - $2
'07 Steve Nash / '09 Chris Paul - $1

Shooting Guard
'93 Michael Jordan - $5
'06 Kobe Bryant - $4
'09 Dwyane Wade - $3
'70 Jerry West - $2
'06 Allen Iverson / '88 Clyde Drexler - $1

Small Forward
'13 LeBron James - $5
'87 Larry Bird - $4
'81 Julius Erving - $3
'14 Kevin Durant - $2
'62 Elgin Baylor / '94 Scottie Pippen - $1

Power Forward
'03 Tim Duncan - $5
'90 Karl Malone - $4
'07 Dirk Nowitzki - $3
'88 Charles Barkley - $2
'04 Kevin Garnett / '62 Bob Pettit - $1

Center
'72 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - $5
'62 Wilt Chamberlain - $4
'00 Shaquille O'Neal - $3
'94 Hakeem Olajuwon - $2
'60 Bill Russell / '82 Moses Malone - $1

PG.... 16 Curry $3
SG.... 88 Drexler $1
SF..... 12 Lebron $5
PF.... 07 Dirk $3
C...... 00 Shaq $3

If we didn't have to pick one player from each position the line up would be so much better. Just for fun here is what my lineup would be then :

PG Lebron $5
SG Pippen $1
SF Durant $3
PF Dirk $3
C Shaq $3
