Zach Randolph appreciation thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I still can't believe that the Clippers signed Baron Davis to that ridiculous contract and we're willing to trade for Z-Bo's horrible contract as well. I don't think Dunleavy could do more damage if it was intentional. They actually have 40 million tied up in Z-Bo, Kaman, and Davis in each of the next two years. Man, talk about strangling a cap.

Team is like the Knicks of the west... without the great history to tarnish. They are gonna be saddled with those huge contracts nobody else wants for a while... maybe the Clips should start a campaign "LeBron to the Clippers in 2010". Can't hurt...

358 guys in the NBA I'd rather have on my team than Zach Randolph. He didn't look panicked at all on that play. The way he shot that ball you'd have thought the play was drawn up.

Unbelievably bad.

What happened was Zach hit a 3-pointer earlier in the quarter & that boosted his confidence :chuckles:

Yep. It's why Zach gets paid the big bucks.

This dude singlehandedly lost the game for them. It's incredible how teams wil take chances on guys who are proven morons.

And some people wondered why I was so adamant about not ever getting Zach Randolph no matter what numbers he puts up. He is the worst kind of player, deceives you with numbers into thinking he can be a benefit, but he is a team killer.

The glorious thing about Z-Bo is that he will be around until something spectacular drives him out of the league. His numbers insure that some team somewhere will always sign him and play him, so we get the hilarity of having him be terrible.

lol @ the final shot he took, it was face palm worthy

But I've already moved on, better play better than that tonight against the Shaqtus and the Jaborwockeez

Overplayed, but I couldn't resist...

Not that I want to be a downer or anything... and trust me, I'm usually the first one to tear apart Randolph's game... but didn't his father just pass away suddenly a couple days prior to the game vs. us? I believe the funeral is this Saturday and the guy has been shuttling back and forth between home and the team to attend to family matters. Maybe we should ease up a bit on him...

I don't understand what his dad dying has to do with the FACT that the guy took an awful, awful shot and screwed his team over. I also don't understand why we should be expected to not make fun of the fact that he's Mr. Empty Numbers.

My dad died when I was a kid but that didn't give me a reprieve from being a moron in class for the next week.

Is anyone else creeped out by Dunleavy's lip-licking habit in this gif?

Well, IIRC, their plan was to sign Baron then resign Elton Brand, and have those 2 lead the team.

However, it shows how tough it is for anyone to sign 2 max players in 1 off season.
