Zach Randolph to the Clippers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Seems the Knicks are cleaning house a bit.

Anyone else see Walsh making an attempt for some former D'Antoni players from the Suns if they keep this up?

Already done.

Walsh guy - Al Harrington
D'Antoni - Tim Thomas

Plus D'Antoni has Q-Rich, a former Sun.

I'm looking forward to the Knicks game tonight, it's always entertaining watching a team play with only 8 active guys including Marbury. :chuckles: I just hope League Pass will have the Bucks announcers, cuz I don't want to hear 2.5 hours of NY homer talk about how Lebron (and they'd probably think Bosh, Wade, or Amare as well) is definitely going to NY in 2010.

Tim Thomas belongs in NY, lazy, underachiever, bad attitude, an absolute perfect fit.

Why trade Kaman? Whats wrong with having depth on your team?

I'm meaning more of current Suns players.

Wow, the Clippers are in full screw-up the franchise mode. Jim Paxson wouldn't have even made this trade.

Elgin Baylor just held a press conference and said, "See, it wasn't all my fault."

The Clippers wanted to get Zach Randolph during this summer, before getting Marcus Camby and before all these Chris Kaman trade rumors... So if you can piece two-and-two together, you can pretty much assume they're not trading Kaman... Now they'll certainly listen for offers but every GM listens to offers for every player... They'd have to get an awfully nice package to give up a guy like Kaman...

Now i'll get it out of the way and say i think Kaman is available no matter who is gonna cry about it and call everybody on here kids lol .

Yes they did want Zach before Camby. They offered the 2nd round pick to try and get him. So basically Camby was the back up plan, they got the Nuggets to bite on the same deal that the Knicks refused. So i don't think it was pre-planned to get all three guys. The Clippers realized they still weren't any good, they needed more scoring up front and Dunleavy really likes Randolph apparently from their days in Portland i'm assuming. So Dunleavy went back to the Knicks, offered another deal and got there guy. I'm not gonna say they are gonna be doing everything they can to trade Kaman but i think he is available.

Once more there is no basis behind it. Look out world, Paul Davis the Clippers new 3rd big.

Well i'm not gonna debate over it because i did say i don't think they would be shopping him, there is a difference between a team shopping a player and making him available.

But i will look at it from another perspective and say they could be looking at the way the Lakers are built. They bascially have a 3 headed monster up front and that could be the main reason why the Clippers Hang on to Kaman.

I think that if the Clippers were smart, they would hang onto all 3 big guys and have a very nice group of big men there. The problem I see though is the playing time, you take 3 guys who are used to starting and try to get them all playing time, someone is bound to complain.

Zbo will probably start, because if he doesn't, he may attack someone. Camby will probably start and shore up what Zbo doesn't do, that leaves Kaman coming off the bench. How long do you think it'll be before he's demanding a trade, after sticking with the Clippers all these years being one of their top players in good times and bad. All of a sudden if he's on the bench he's probably not gonna be happy with it, he became chopped liver over night and got replaced in the starting lineup in the 2 positions he could possibly play.

You also have to take into consideration that sterling is their owner and paying one of their bigs 10+ million to come off the bench is a nightmare to him. He isnt as stingy as he use to be but I believe he has some limits. They could make a trade that lands them a backup big as well as whatever they want to fill their starting lineup.

I honestly don't think the cavs are in the running for kaman or that we make great trading partners but it looks like Charlotte is very interested and you can never say never.
