Arliss is that not available. Never noticed, because I never remembered that that show existed.
C'mon, you have better taste than this.
The president in s2 was a cartoon character.
Also Grantland
critic Andy Greenwald was pretty on point when he refered to it as basically a "Frank dunks on everyone montage."
We wouldn't buy Pro Wrestling if it gave characters the type of push that Frank got. It was entertaining, but once I finished it was basically an afterthought.
yes s2 was really bad. s1 was quite good - def better - but it's definitely not close to the best show of the past decade.C'mon, you have better taste than this. Out of curiosity what is?

I do see you points and such but(limit the length of the response) please tell me how that clueless fuck Walker got elected president. 0 charisma. Horrible strategist.
Better shows that aired at some point over the past decade:
The Wire
The Shield
Breaking Bad
Battlestar Galactica
Friday Night Lights
Game of Thrones
Personally, I'd also throw in Justified because I love the show and the characters are just incredibly fun to watch every week. If we're counting comedies as well as dramas, Arrested Development would be on the list above. Deadwood has a pretty solid argument as well. Some people would probably argue Mad Men, but I couldn't really get into it so I left it off my list.
I actually liked how Greenwald compared House of Cards to Doritos. Easy to devour an entire bag, but not much in the way of nutritional content. A very entertaining show, but ultimately it's more of a guilty pleasure than a show that you'll rewatch every year like I do with most of the shows on that list above.
I'll be 100% honest with you.. I don't agree..
I don't like most of the shows you listed, especially Battlestar Galactica (and I'm a huge sci-fi fan, bigger than you are - of that I am certain).. We obviously have different tastes.

Hmm......
His character is loosely based on George Walker Bush.
