Game 1 against Bulls we could never get over the hump. Here we are tied and they have no answer for LeBron. I like our chances.
 
If the game is close in the fourth quarter, hopefully LeBron guards Teague. Would be nice to see Teague telling LeBron "You can't guard me!" like he told Delly! :chuckle:

Yea that's how we game planned for them, force their pgs to score of the pick n roll and stay home on shooters which negates their ball movement. The only adjustment I would make is trap shroder because all he wants to do is score
 
In Delly's defense it looked like Schroder touched the ball about 2 times before the clock started. I watched it again and it looked like he didn't though. Honestly the other guys were just standing around so it's as much on them. But you let Baze shoot that. If we let the Hawks condition themselves into going 1 on 1 all night then we've done our job, we'll ramp up the D in crunch time.

Its not even that, I'm not criticizing him in a bad way, if he makes 1 of those wide open 3's, those wide open missed opportunities show up in the end.

Hopefully he catches a rhythm.

We might be better off putting Shump on Teague. If LeBron has enough energy put him on Korver and maybe hide Kyrie on Carroll.
 
First of all, that was a great out of bounds play by Blatt. Not only was LeBron the one to inbound the ball, but he also was the decoy on the play.
Then the transition D was shit.

Overall, we're getting literally 0 contribution from Kyrie and we're tied at the half. I'll take it.
Our D overall was solid, but Kyrie is just getting torched by Jeff out there and I wonder if Blatt makes any adjustments to fix that.

I loved how Blatt brought LBJ back with 2 fouls and hid him on Muscala on D. That was a nice reaction to Bud. Also, on offense, Blatt sees that the Hawks switch everything and exploits LeBron being guarded by Teague. Should go to that ISO more in the second, it's free money for Bron.

Overall I'm ok with that half. Some tweaks and KI turning it up a little and it's all good.

You are either blind or a compete delly homer, he's getting torched on defense like he had all year, he plays 1 good series (cause he knocked down 3s) and now he's back to normal.

Exactly. If he knocks down a three or two like he usually would, he's doing everything we need him to.

We can put Delly on him. We don't necessarily need length on Korver, we just need someone in his hip pocket constantly like Beal did....

They have to go with that lineup. Put Kyrie on Korver. Chasing someone isn't his problem, it's guarding a guy off the dribble. Korver puts the ball down and we win the possession. We also have to keep in mind ATLs pgs are two of the fastest in the league. Pretty sure most PGs would get beat guarding them. Let alone with two injuries.
