No, it's Cheddy Cheese. He doesn't smoke.
While I like Cedi Cheese, I will be referring to him as The Scourge of Macedonia.

I like his court awareness. Quite impressive for a 20 year old. It translates to his passing game, finding holes in the opposing defense, playing the lanes, rebounding. I like his motor and speed too.
I don't like his shooting percentages. Below 70% from the line is a red flag to me. He can slash, but he is not strong enough to be effective around the rim in the NBA. I guess he could add muscle in the next couple of years.
His hair should translate well at the NBA level.
Overall, I'd have gone a different direction.
Nope, you are both wrong. I have some contacts in Turkey. He plans to go by Cedi The Entertainer come 2017.While I like Cedi Cheese, I will be referring to him as The Scourge of Macedonia.
Apparently his name is pronounced as "Cheddy".
Cavs made a good decision by drafting him. He is one of the best young player in Europe. He has more playing time than any other young player in Europe. He was the MVP of U20 basketball championship in Europe and also a member of Turkish National Team. He had some injury problems this season (not long term, all of them because of damage) This summer he will play in U20 European Championship and European Basketball Championship. He will be the starting SF in Turkish National Team this summer.
The guy has continuous development. A few years ago while he was playing in youth categories, his biggest weakness was his defence. Now he is one of the best defenders in his team (Anadolu Efes is one of the best defensive team in Europe) He improved his rebounding and blocking ability this year. Biggest problem is his shooting mechanic and percentage, hope he can improve it. Also he needs to add some muscles.
I saw some comments about him that he will be the next Goran Dragic or Hedo Turkoglu. That's not true. He is more like Manu Ginobili to me.
He has a very good personality. Young but determined, well behaved person. I'm looking forward to see him with Cavs in 2017-2018 season.
His name pronounces in Turkish Language as "Jedi". Not Cheddy.
Thank you very much for your input. I have a question.
You mentioned that he is going to be the starting small forward for his team. I've seen him labeled here as a shooting guard, and I've also seen his height reported as both 6'6", and 6'8". That's 198 cm v. 203 cm, which is pretty significant. How tall is he really, and do you think his NBA position can be small forward?
I like that Griff said he compared himself to Trevor Ariza...means he is familiar with the NBA, seeing as how Ariza isn't exactly a household name worldwide. Plus, he broke the taboo of comparing himself with another white Euro wing.
I agree, good catch. He now knows he can be on an good NBA team so I am sure with his apparent great work ethic, he will improve in so many ways.
I dont think youre ready for this Cedi
