Pat Riley Karma Safari / DWade to sign with Chicago

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ok cool, so we're essentially in agreement then anyway lol. And that's the thing... Boogie or Butler aren't coming to us, at least not in July, so we're rolling with what we have and hoping our young guys take HUGE leaps.

As far as the Love for Celtics table scraps propositioners (word?) goes... I know one of the names off the top of my head from looking back at my alerts from last night when I called him out on how terrible the trade he proposed was, but I'm no snitch :chuckle: And honestly, arguing with someone who legitimately thinks we should trade Love for role players isn't worth your time. Although the bloodbath you would leave in your wake after being done with them would be entertaining.

Go for it.

You realize that trading Love for Smart and Crowder would not only bring those good young pieces but take us out of salary cap hell, allowing us to sigh other players.

Honestly it seems to me that Wade & the Heat are going to part ways at this point. Feelings are too hurt.

Now does he go for money, or for rings (while shoving it in Riley's face in the process).
I don't think Riley would care as much about him getting paid elsewhere as him winning a championship in Cleveland with the guy who he mistreated in Miami

Jason Lloyd on the radio right now, says highly unlikely Wade is coming. Says the Cavs do not want to make the necessary roster moves they would have to make to bring him here.

-The only way Lloyd sees this working, shed Kevin and Iman.

-Most important move, signing JR.

-Cavs are not giving bad money out.

-The market being set for JR is Joe Johnson and Affalo.

-Delly is replaceable, JR isn't.

-Most important thing is to keep everything intact.

-Problem with TPE, nobody is looking to dump money due to the cap rise. It isn't valuable as of now.

-But it can change at the trade deadline.

-He doesn't see Lance Stephenson a fit in this lockerroom as a vet signing.

-Speights could be a good move to make.

No thanks. Time to toss this thread in the Durant Jersey fire.

It takes me a lot less time to write than it does for you, obviously;
Oh yes, quite obviously :coffee:

My argument has nothing to do with Wade, I've said he is angling for a 3rd year and I've said he wants to stay in Miami.
That's strange for somebody who for days has garrulously detailed the ways and methods in which Wade ends up in Cleveland.

But you know what gouri, you're aight in my book (which admittedly probably lacks the breadth and scale of the one which is sure to follow this post.) I'll do my part by doing 100 snow angels in a briar patch when Wade announces his decision to sign elsewhere :thumb:

I'm still one to believe that LeBron could take a paycut, he could make 17 a mil for this year and Wade could come here at about 9-10 for a year.

I cannot see Wade being out of Miami and not in Cleveland, Gilbert would pay Wade until he's 40 if he has too. He hooked Varejao up for crying out loud.

Until LeBron signs then forget about this idea, but hes not signing.... neither is JR

Speights would be an awesome move. Don't see it happening though. He can get a hell of a lot more money. And will probably seek it. If he just wants to win a title, he'll just re-sign with GS.

We better not give bad money out, we've already did that enough lol

The bold part is a lie, Bogut and Diaw, while not great certainly aren't nothing. Both were dumped for money.

The underlined part is bogus to an extent too because we lose our Haywood and Miller TPE's at the end of this month, they are btoh smaller than the Andy TPE and in this cap probably useless but still worth mentioning.

Wake up Windy report.

-Wade was never almost a Cav and will never almost be a Cav. Will you take 3 mil?

-I'm an asshole.

-The Cavs made their moves in 2014-15. Enjoy your gold trophy Cavs fans.

-Regarding Ariza being available, I'd love to have Kawhi, I heard Kawhi is on a plane, everybody dig in.

-I'm an bigger asshole.

-Pacers had the best moves of the East. Hawks are also very interesting.

-Considers Cavs should go after Ian Clark.

-Likes the Spurs concept, bubble wrap Duncan and bring him out in May.

-New CBA next year, Durant and Curry will be FA's, owners may team up and make it difficult for Warriors to keep them, Windy expects a backlash from this.
