Totally agree. A coworker of mine is a season ticket holder and was able to buy 8 additional tickets which they sold or gave to family members. If every season ticket holder did the same, that's a ton of tickets available on the second hand market. Just a shame that we didn't really have a home crowd.

It was, but Kluber was flat and exhausted. Not much he could do other than ask for another day off. You aren't going to shut down this lineup every day, especially when they got their bats going feasting on lesser pitchers the last couple of games. Sometimes you have to be able to score.
 
Overall a great season. I was honestly surprised they made it out of the ALDS against Boston. Thought they were done after Carrasco/Salazar went down.

Baseball is very random in October, but they have the pieces to make it back.

Yes they do and I hope this run might nab us a a few more players open to coming here however it happens. If anything this run and our core will be seen as a WS contender and will draw more better pieces. Loved this season with all the regs here and new posters, Love you all.
 
The 10th was screaming for somebody that can get punch outs. I think everybody anticipated Shaw running into trouble and he did. I would have went to Salazar to face Zobrist because it looked clear that Shaw was fooling nobody. Letting Shaw give up ANOTHER run scoring hit was just being stupid.

Tito has way over-valued Shaw all year. I've joked repeatedly about Shaw and Tito's bromance going to cost us. Seeing it coming a mile away and watching Tito be too stubborn to do anything about it almost seems too scripted.

I could have gone either way. The thought of adding yet another automatic out to the lineup would have made it tough, but so would the thought of a fly ball to left. That's not why we lost.

Chicago was the Warriors in this series and did their job.
