Browns 2016 Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Great news. The only potential downfall of the Collins trade was that we had two big FAs in Collins and Pryor with only one franchise tag. Now we can either franchise Pryor or bargain a long-term extension with a lot more leverage.

#fakenews

LaCanfora is awful and terrible and can't be trusted.
As soon as I saw you posted in here my mind immediately went to this is going to be a post worthy of the wrench

I am neither surprised nor impressed

For a brief moment I was concerned that Johnny was a Ween fan with that lyric drop, but then I confirmed Gucci Mane lifted that line from Ween and gave it to the millennials. Phew...

FWIW it's worth, Spotrac estimates Collins' market value at 4 years, $49 million...

I have a hard time buying the $100 million number..

I think Browns will have to pay a premium, but not that kind of premium...

The Clay Matthews deal was signed 2-3 years ago. Besides Von Miller, who is a transcendent talent, the LB market hasn't really adjusted to the salary cap growth of the last 3 years. So that plus essentially a Browns tax(desperate, need to retain talent, huge cap room) could lead to a deal like the Malik Jackson one signed last offseason 6 years, 80+ million

Now that said, the guarantee and bonuses will be the only numbers that really matters

Collins is an exceptional talent, someone we can build a defense with. Over pay if you need to, we got the xap room. I wanna see what Greg Williams can do with the young talent we have.
