Game #42 -|- Cavaliers vs. Spurs -|- Jan. 21st, 2017 @ 8:30 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Defense needs to be fixed pronto.

It's the Cavs biggest issue
I agree, but here's the problem:

LBJ at the 4 is out best defensive lineup.

But we don't start doing that until the playoffs get close.

Are we just trying to survive until the All Star break, and then we'll tighten the screws?

We had so so so many chances to win. We just kept finding a way to blow it. Well, I thought getting absolutely destroyed by GSW would be a good wake up call but apparently not. Hopefully this game accomplishes moving us toward waking up.

Also, how did Love airball that? Why did Korver play no clutch minutes? And overall, wtf were we doing? Frustrating game.

Yeah, this needs to be a wakeup call. It's 2017 now. The 2016 championship is over guys. Let's get serious, let's have the FO get more defensive help.

Love also doesn't have a quick release. He was open but hes a guy who needs more than 0.6. He rushed that bad.

I said, Korver has got to be in, right? And, nope... Why the heck not?! I feel like Lue is borderline retarded with substitutions at times.

Tristan was on the floor with .6 seconds. As much as he could screen, no one needs to even be near him because him scoring does nothing at allllll. Idiots. But we basically lost the game when RJ played like 15 minutes on Leonard... Poorly coached and we still somehow pulled it through. LeBron needs to get his head out of his ass and Love needs to stop being a turd.

Defense is atrocious and teams may as well not guard Love late in games.

PS - it really rubs me the wrong way how happy and friendly our leaders were when the game ended.

This is why Blatt never played Love in the 4th, Hes a giant liability on defense doesn't even raise his hands up to bother layups and cannot be trusted on offense when the pressure is on
I saw a hobbled Love out there. Not the double-double Love from earlier this season.

As far as why he was out there, I suspect Ty Lue had his reasons.

Fix that RJ shit though. He's responsible sure enough throughout the game.

As usual.
LOL what the fuck are you on about? Lue lost us this game and I refuse to be a dandy-sniffing homer about it. It should have been wrapped up midway through the 4th.

I'm sorry we lost and that your feelings are crushed, but you can't play putrid defense against the league's elite teams and expect to win.

So what possible reason was there for not having Korver on the court for that last possession?
Because he had been out since like mid or early 4th? The question is why was he never in during that whole time of clutch 4th minutes or OT? I'm confident we win the game if he is in for Love during that whole time.

smart to leave him open the way he's been playing lately.
Why 11 of 16 LeBron James making the fricking pass instead of Love?

Never have I been more frustrated with LeBron in a long time. Unlike most here I can tell when he's clearly in chill mode.

This was a game where he was clearly in passive mode and that pisses me off.

LeBron needs to be one of the options on that play. ONE SHOT in overtime? I just don't get it.
