The Legend of the Slumpbuster!!! GAME 44: Sacramento Kings (17-27) at Cleveland Cavaliers (30-13)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cousins didn't have a great game by his standards, but he got some easy points because any time he goes up for a pick, TT shows hard to the ball handler and Boogie was rolling free, with little help defense and not enough recovery time for TT. This was happening even late into the game. Why in the world did anyone think that would be a good idea?

The defense is a mess schematically right now and the Cavs just aren't doing basic things (free throws tonight, anyone?).

Bottom line, they're pressing and it isn't pretty. Got to weather this storm and just pick up a few wins.

Next time we are in this situation, Lue needs to bench LBJ. He has had key turnovers in the last 3 games and has been sulking the entire fourth. Takes piss poor shots. Completely frustrating to watch this team.

LBJ has been.ignoring Kyrie late in games since San Antonio and I don't get it.

This is literally the worst we've played since 19-20 in 2014-15

I know he had a triple-double, but his numbers couldn't be more empty tonight. He was the worst of the big-3 on the floor.

Korver has done some really dumb shit. Really bad end of game performance from him.

Didn't Kyrie take and miss an important 3? We had our opportunities. This game its all about the missed freethrows. Nearly 20. Not much to say at this point. Dark place.

I still can't believe James Jones missed 3 FTs in a row...

I mean what are the fucking odds?

Literally every big on the team does that. It's... Not smart defense. Who is doing the defensive coaching? Because he needs to be out of a job last month.

My 5 year old son goes to bed every night and then asks me in the morning did the Cavs win? I keep telling him no...

Options are

A. Trade
B. assistant coach firing
C. head coach firing

Probably in order of likelihood. Aside from winning the title though, the precedent for C definitely exists.

I haven't been able to post as much as previous years, but I had some feelings about our depth being harmed when we let Delly get away...That's on the GM.

There is literally zero chance Ty Lue gets fired.

That's a lie. That personal spurt he had in the 3rd alone gave the whole team energy. Also, in the 4th he changed the game on both ends getting us up by 10. Lue kept that squad out there too long. Kyrie and Love should have been back sooner. He was the best among the 3 but that's not saying much tonight.
