PS: While I could understand someone in this room maybe feeling disrespected, the outrage over this photo is dumb. I have fun picking trivial battles with Trump and his peeps because it's usually a symptom of some bigger issue, but I'm having a hard time giving a shit about this.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but this was almost certainly a planned strategy by the Trump team to get a picture of him floating all over the internet with a jam-packed room of black leaders.

And it's worked.....

I am black.

Mom is black, father is Hindu and Irish. Mistaken for being Hispanic and occasionally Samoan. Don't know too much about my Lineage(embarrassing, but I plan on researching very soon)

And @David I was referring to how you applied what you saw in San Diego in regards undocumented people to the entire Immigration debate as if that explained it. You do this a lot. And then you get ultra offended when someone says something about it. It comes off as "[I][B]I[/B] [/I]see things this way so that is the way things are" instead of well this is my opinion. That's how it comes off. Sorry for the snarky response.

The point of the what I posted was to say that if you are making these comments as rebuttals when someone is trying to speak about racism, you are defending yourself rather than actively listening. Most of those comments are used to shut down the topic of racism instead of continuing the discussion.

What did you specifically find a problem with "what I did in the debate of illegal immigration" in regards to what I've seen in San Diego? Tell you there's a lot of illegal immigrants in my industry? Extrapolate statistics which were exactly correct based on my hypothesis?

Are you really making the argument that's racist somehow? What comment, specifically, did I make that triggered you on immigration and carried over into your opinion on racism?

And don't change the discussion, you said I couldn't talk about a bunch of ridiculous quotes you pulled off of google because I'm white and you're black. That's.. obviously racist.
