He started 3 games in 2015 when Dalton got hurt, and threw 6 TDS and 2 INTs while completing 66.4% of his passes. I am not saying we have to get him/that we will, but he ends up being a similar option to Grappolo, guys who are on a rookie contract who are backups on other teams.
If there was a franchise QB in this draft we would not be rumored with these guys so that tells me no matter who we draft they will need to sit likely behind Kessler, and I doubt we don't go get someone who has been in the league longer as well than Kessler has!

I found those stats on McCarron. I'm still not convinced the Browns should trade for this guy. Considering we already have Kessler who seems pretty similar to McCarron.
Isn't the whole point of trading for a quarterback to find a franchise quarterback? Hence the discussion about Grappolo.
