Game 76: Pacers @ Cavs, Sunday, April 2, 2017, 6:00 PM EST

Lebron playing 50 minutes and the Cavs giving up 125+ points. Ty Lue in heaven right now.

The minutes were bad, but I honestly didn't think they played bad defensively. They got lazy after going up 14, and it cost them. Last 12-13 minutes of gametime, PG caught fire. He was hitting shots against good defense (and some miscommunication).

Love signature regular season game.

This is why stats can be misleading

The worst +/- players for the cavs this game: Lebron, TT, JR, and RJ all with negative +/-

Shumpert on the other hand was +11 (team high)

Also weird: this was their second 135-130 game this year

LeBron was mad Paul George was lighting him up. He just took it out on TT.
When playing that kind of mins I understand wanting others to do better. However, I understand TT being mad.

For those that didn't realize, AC called it a little earlier in the 4th (or it might've been the first OT). LeBron had been barking on a few plays about the second defender defending the pick player, not switching onto George (must be the assignment). But George was consistently left open on the same screen play because there was no help defense.

Then in that 2nd OT, Tristan backed off him and defended coverages and space as opposed to the man and George hit that 3. LeBron then verbally murdered him and Tristan yapped right back at him. They were still going as they went to the huddle for the TO - that's when Lue tried to intervene and to get them both to relax.

I highly doubt that this had anything to do with Lue and his rapport with the players as some have suggested. This was two guys going at it, calling each other out, while the coach did his job in terms of trying to mitigate the situation.

Yay. Gutted that one out.

Love finally taking over when it counts.

It is not that he played bad but he makes stupid plays that are glaring at the worst times.

Who is the starting five on the LeBron's whipping boy all-star team? Chalmers, TT and JJ Hickson have to be on the roster.

I would definitely consider resting him against the Magic and then going all-in on the game at Boston.
If we lose against Magic without LeBron (a huge possibility) then what would be the point

Whenever I see TT going at it with LeBron, it actually makes me wish Kyrie and Love were mentally ready to do the same.
