The Bills should probably drop their buffalo logo as well.

Much like the Native Americans, the early European-Americans hunted them to near extinction through mass genocide. Using a caricature of their great species is pretty offensive.

Decent read by the man who created it. He's spot on. Chief Wahoo will never go away even if it goes away. This isn't the situation of Jacobs Field vs Progressive Field. The faithful will still wear the Wahoo. Then if they ban it, well that would be a mess.

It can stop being used by the team and league.

Either way the Indians are in the media way too much especially after the fact of movies like Major League. It will take a lot of time to even change it and the Indians fans don't want the name to change. It's a different day and age and it's never going to change I don't think. The issue is the fact also the majority of Native Americans in the modern day aren't against the name. If the majority where against it then something needs to be done, but I am not seeing that. We cannot change a teams name because of a few people thinking it is bad. If they can change it, then I will personally protest Notre Dames Fighting Irish since that is just as bad.
