2017 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Man, it would suck so much to watch CP waste his prime in shitty fucking franchises.

Can't really blame the franchise. Freak injuries.

Not that they could ever take the Warriors but at least they would have given them a run for their money.

I still can't believe this Harden/FT trash. I'm telling you I'd rather watch Cavs play GS than Hou... our blood will be boiling every 4th quarter questionable call. It'll be heart attack watch around here.

Presti is living on his reputation really. He has done a very bad job in the last couple of years.

I still think its a good roster. Just need a good back-up PG and a good 3&D wing.

They had a Big 3, and he broke it up!

Clippers will look back and regret keeping DeAndre. I get why they did it and its easily defensible. But their best course of action would have been to let him go, get a filler for a year (I was proposing McGee), and then make a real, legitimate run Durant at last summer.

I was thinking the same. They could have tried for KD but then again KD is a fucking pussy and he was always going to join Warriors.

If Utah had more consistent shooting, they would be pretty tough. Missed a lot of open looks today. But any young team that gets a road playoff game 5 win is impressive. Notable how seemingly easy it was for them to control the pace throughout the game.

Westbrook was +14, +12, and +11 respectively on court in three of their losses. I'm going to have to data mine, but this is probably unprecedented, i.e., lose a series 4-1 while your 45% usage player (also unprecedented) is a plus on court in 4 of the games. They won EVERY first quarter, even in the game they got blown out and that's primarily due to Westbrook and some good perimeter defense.

Games 2 through 5: 192 total minutes played

Westbrook 160 on court minutes: Thunder +40
Westbrook off court 32 minutes: Thunder -52

8 minutes off court per game, -13 every 8 minutes. I don't know if Westbrook cant play more then 38 or 39 minutes per game due to how much he puts into the game, but he needed to play 42-43 per game.

Basically, the Rockets were +1.67 points per minute every minute Westbrook was off court the last four games. Just crazy.

For Houston, though it can be argued they were outplayed for large chunks of this series, they never seemed the worse team and that they were just waiting to take the lead every game. They didn't shoot well from three AT ALL and still won the series 4-1. A big key is that Anderson has sucked on open threes since he came back and was 3-24 on threes in this series, most of those open shots. Had he shot the way he did before injury, most likely that Westbrook wouldn't be much of s plus on court. F Anderson can make those open threes, any series is interesting for them.

Houston has no chance against the Spurs or GS

I really wanted to see Russ pull it off and upset Houston!!!
