NBA Finals | Game 1 | Cavs (0-0) @ Warriors (0-0) | June 1, 2017 | 9:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't know about the story of their stars out playing ours. I definitely don't believe that especially considering at the half we had 2 of the best 3 players on the court. What does concern me is Love, TT, and J.R they have to be at their best for us to have a chance. When they play like they are confused and afraid of the moment this is what you get.

A close first half because LBJ and Kyrie are that good to overcome their ineffectiveness. But having 3 starters playing like they don't belong on the court is a huge problem that those individuals need to fix immediately. Anyway my 2 cents of what I believe really happened tonight. Let's bounce back in game 2, Go Cavs.

How anyone can say our half court D was fine is beyond me.
It has been overshadowed by our even shittier transition D, but we are literally giving GS a great look on every possession. Even when they're playing end of the bench guys.
Every half court is either a foul or an open look. ZERO steals.
We got it lucky that Thompson is having a horrible shooting night.

Series aren't won in a single game. Getting blown out by this team is nothing new.

The fortitude of the Cavs will be on display throughout the Finals, but there will be moments like this. It's going to be frustrating. The game would be a lot closer had it not been for all the turnovers and unforced errors committed by the team. GSW has played well, but I don't get the feeling they're unbeatable by any means.

Finish out this game. Have no injuries. And move on to the next one.

Yea blowouts had to be expected. Hard to watch but oh well. I promised myself I wouldn't turn off any games in this final regardless of how much Warrior jizz gets shot in my face.

So do tell me why Lebron is still in the game ?

If we are going to get called for fouls, we might as well earn them.

Lebron showed up. Ky and Kev both had moments. No one else did anything. Combine that with a crazy amount of turnovers, horrendous transition defense, and allowing the most stacked offense of all time to get double digit offensive rebounds, and we have game 1. Don't understand how people can definitively say the series is over. You don't need to win game 1. You just need to be the first to win 4.

Lets do a heat index

Who's threads will be the spiciest tonight?

1. Ty Lue. Easy one
2. Kevin Love (somehow)
3. LeBron James
4. JR
5. Korver
1. Lue not too blame
2. Love- His unwillingness to step out on picks to put some form of pressure on the PnR ball handler is being taken advantage of
3. Lebron- too much faith in our vanilla offense. Needs to be a shot hunter all game. The others can get good looks of off this
4. JR- Has come into a 3rd straight finals like a deer in headlights.
5. Korver- not to blame

JR and TT need to bring it next game. TT getting outplayed and out hustled by Zaza and McGee (4 rebounds) was the difference along with the TO's

This is disheartening only because we've given EVERY team this year quality looks

East teams just were trash and misssed

Warriors won't miss
