The Paul George Safari: LeBron Strikes Back!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I guess Dan doesn't want a rental. If Lakers give up №2 I'll laugh my ass off.

Lonzo going to Indiana would be the absolute best.

He may refuse a la Eli Manning.

1 LOL Pacers have zero leverage and if they ended up with good draft picks or KLove then they'd be very lucky.
2 LOL at LA trading. Why would PG13 want to play on a poor team that just depleted its assets to trade for him?
3 This is just smokescreen that we will probably hear until draft time.

Tick tock, every minute PG13's trade value drops with huge drops after the draft after training camp and after the start of the regular season.
People seriously underrate the value of keeping PG13.

You can't simultaneously argue that his trade value is terrible/that they have no leverage AND mock the Pacers for not trading him. If his trade value is such a joke that the Cavs could acquire him for pittance, then Indiana should just keep him.

Keep him on the roster to sell tickets and maybe even get some extra playoff revenue out of it. If you can't get reasonable value then don't trade him. "Something is better than nothing" is overrated when that "something" is an extremely mediocre player/prospect.

I think all this is just speculation and the Pacers GM trying to drum up more interest....LA would be stupid to give up that much and gut the team...I don't know if the Cavs are talking or not but I'm sure the Cavs aren't sitting on their hands

Lakers aren't looking to trade for PG. They wait a year and they can just sign him

Makes no sense to give up Lonzo Ball because you couldn't stomach one more bad year

If they give up Lonzo, Indy eats Mozgov & Deng's unmovable contracts.

The Lakers aren't giving up anything of value for George. Makes no sense for them.

Yes I absolutely can do that and it makes sense. They have no leverage so they should take what they can get because something now is better than nothing later. Plus keeping them hurts their rebuild position AND keeping hi on the roster likely will harm much more than it helps as the fans will not be happy and the team won't buy in to him as a leader.

i want to believe this, but ppl operate without reason and sense all the time. and bad franchises are bad for a reason
