The Official Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire] Thread (includes spoilers)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Sansa narration in the trailer.

When the lone wolf dies the pack remains...

That trailer was fire.

I need a chance to watch it on a bigger screen with better sound, but I'm starting to think this ends with one big mind fuck. I'm not sure the whole greenseer traveling endlessly into the past to change a mistake isn't close to correct.

At 1:04, who is the old man we see with Bran? Any guesses?

I do very much think this trailer hints at Euron either being an ally of, or controlled by, the Night's King. It seems as though he fights the war in the South while the Night's King comes in from the North.

Not sure if it's Spoiler tag worthy but fuck it:

"When the snows fall, when the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives."

That saying is straight from the original book series. Ned says it to Arya as a warning that their family must be united against a common enemy.

It was in the trailer so I wouldn't think it was spoiler worthy.

Jaime is so dead. Danys dragons will burn him and it'll be swung as "justice" for killing her father or some bullshit.

I hope not.

I actually like Jaime now. I have a feeling the entire show will end without anyone on the throne?? Not sure.

Wouldnt be shocked.

That scene of Jaime charging through the Field of Fire (part deux) reeks of death scene. Hopefully I'm wrong. I'd like him to survive.

Jaime is toast, but so is almost everyone. All you can ask for is that he gets a death worthy of the character.

When it comes to movies and shows, I'm a nihilist, and am always in favor of everything dying. I think the Matrix would have been infinitely better had it ended with Agent Smith winning, taking over the real world, and the final scene is just a bunch of Smith's walking around.

So, with that said, I'm totally ok with the NIght's King winning.

You must be a fun guy at parties.

Exactly. And if his arc has clearly been completed, I'm fine with him going out in an incredible death scene.

If he gets Roose Bolton treatment, though, I fucking riot.
