LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I would say expecting Kyrie to not act like Steph's hype man is a realistic expectation.

Exactly, I mean as he sees that going on he could have been like "I'm outta here" and go for a drink or something. He didn't need to be there cheering it on like a fucking groupie trying to get some after the show.

It's probably been said by someone other than me, but all of this drama with kyrie, plus losing in the finals... we are going to see the most focused and determined LeBron and I can't wait to see it.

One more thing, I also see no way lebron goes west... but what if the sixers show they've gotten better thos season... they have only 41 million invested next year(i think)... could get lebron and someone else.

No one does the same shit LeBron does. :chuckle:

He's a douche on instagram. You don't think so?

I love LeBron. I just think he tries way too fucking hard sometimes.

If only LeBron could be less douchey and more cool like Curry and the Warriors....

What's wrong with this picture? Why does the poker table just cut off on the end of it?

Awful photoshop job.

It all makes sense now...

The Warriors are at the edge of the earth, that's why Kyrie was there.

The line you see in the photo is one edge of the flat earth meeting the other.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have mixed emotions about what Kyrie did. It's super lame on the surface but at the same time what can we really expect him to do in that situation?

Challenge Steph to a duel to the death lol
Kyrie absolutely knew how that was gonna be taken here and did it anyway. That was my tipping point. I had been on team "let's work it out" the past two weeks, but no. Kyrie is treating LeBron and the Cavs' organization like garbage.

Trade him for a reliable All-Star possibility at guard (Bledsoe), an exciting up-and comer (Josh Jackson) and give the Suns something else back to make it go through (like Shump, late first rounder, etc.).

Three weeks ago, Kyrie was my favorite Cav. Now, I can't wait for him to leave. He is handling this as poorly as he possibly could.

Kyrie Irving, only 13 months ago, you were in a car in Downtown Cleveland on a beautiful, late-June afternoon, being adorned in arguably the deepest level of affection a city has ever given a team. This team picked you #1, made you the guy for four years, and made you a household name and a champion in the next 3.

Shame. On. You.

The Warriors aren't scared of him because they're stacked. Steph Curry wasn't mocking LeBron after he bitched them in the 2016 Finals. They only do it now because they have Durant and they're playing on rookie mode.

100% correct

we know that curry/warriors feared lebron is because they went and recruited durant who also spent his entire career getting owned by lebron and feared him

Someone must have cropped the balloons from the overhead shot of their party into this close up from the same day.

The way the players choose to come at him, post game interviews, on court tactics, mocking him, his team and everything he's about shows a true lack of respect they actually have for him and I think in many ways that comes from that July 8th night in 2010 when he had no self awareness, was completely self absorbed, selfish, disrectful, and about as narcissistic as one could get.....

to me, it's way overstated considering that lebron routinely wins the award for player that other players want to play with

I think the part where people to disrespect/discredit him is combination of lebron being the first big player of the modern mass media era, jealousy of him being great and on national medias radar since he was 16 and modern fanboyism/haterism taking to new heights

wow, could not agree more on your last couple sentences.....13 freakin months he was the toast of the town. We do not win that championship without him, yet that was not enough
Now he is walking away from a chance at another ring because he doesnt want to be "sonned". Well lbj is 7 years older, I think it is kind of natural. Players would flock to play with lbj(more so if he would commit) Kyrie is running away Plus he loses the chance of a max contract...ever....dumb

Perfect world is we trade irving, get a solid haul and lebron commits for 3-4 more years

I have no faith that Lebron re-signs for the same reason Irving wants out: the franchise is a shitshow in Dan Gilbert's hands. Irving may be throwing Lebron under the bus, but his request seems to indicate a wish for a stable well run organization.

There is a ton of out of context stuff in here as well cherry picked circumstances, but the overarching theme is somewhat correct: Dan Gilbert refuses to build stability inside of his basketball team. Refuses to let talented people do their job without putting his hands on things.

The Cavs are built almost entirely on the luck of geography and a few ping pong balls. A competent owner would have had a team and organization in place to carry Lebron and Irving through Irving's free agent year. Been able to deal with the ego's, but when the owner is as much a prima-donna as some of the players.. tough road.

It sucks that this is the organization we root for.. keeps letting me down, just like my parents but you can't run away from the dna. This is the team I root for unfortunately for better and worse.. mostly worse.

I wish we were competent and had any resemblence of consistency for years.. much like the spurs.. being a small market team makes a well run FO that much more important. Making good trades, scouting, player development, we lack everything.
We don't have the privilege to make mistakes and have a shitty FO like the Lakers and still have hope of landing superstars in FA every year if things look bleak. If things look bleak, we will go for a long ass, sad rebuild.

We needed to have the option of a better rebuild if things went south, but we punted our future for a quick return. Now that we need to trade our stars, we get 0.25c on the dollar because teams know that they got no chance against GSW, so what's the point in giving up the future for a player that is supposed to be a win now player, but in reality he isn't even that?

If I were a GM I wouldn't even trade my future for a fringe superstar at this point. GSW fucked us twice and Kyrie isnt doing us any favors at this point.
