So Severino came in the league throwing a FB at 91mph. In 2-3 years, he gets up to over 100. Juiced or mechanics? Hmmm.....

The good news:

KC is down 7-0 in the 2nd. Hopefully Duffy is pulled soon and KC's bullpen is weakened for their 2nd game game this evening.

Almonte blew this game...very catchable ball...lost it in the sun i guess...Carrassco deserved better...we were not scoring anything off of Severino today had to shut out NY

Part me of says he should be off the roster next season in a way. He is not a horrible player, but when you make plays like he does at times, you will not stay in the pros.

Well this game is likely done for the day, oh well...

Since Miller was sent to the DL:

-Shaw gave up 1 run in the 9th of a game that was decided
-McAllister gave up 1 run in a 2-1 loss
-Clevinger gave up a 3 run shot to Judge

All true. But, for the Tribe, it is about having their best players ready for the start of the playoffs. They just don't want a situation like what happened with Carrasco and Salazar last year. If Kluber, Carrasco, Salazar, Miller, and Allen are all available, they should be a threat to anyone they face in October. It just doesn't seem like anyone in the division will have enough to overtake them. That said, this season has been a bit on the frustrating side. It reminds me a lot of the 97 season when they had a hard time getting anything going. Then, they played much better in the playoffs.
