You can't exactly do that when you shit on people for using advanced stats. Just because you don't understand doesn't mean they are not useful.

This section isn't for serious talk or shaming shit posters.

It's for making fun of other posters who have a better grasp on stats than you, or spitting out hottake after hottake, or absurd overreactions, or running into the ground jokes that haven't been funny for years.

They can be useful and not be the entire story. I think Jay Bruce is a good example. There were people that actually didn't even want him

No one ever said they are the entire story...ever.

They are a good tool, especially for progression/regression sake early on in the season and comparisons, and are a good talking point.

Better than a fucking shitty hottake...

Making fun of them and the people who use them is a dick fucking move though. You aren't alone in this, there are others who do the same.

So until you cut the shit out, I'm throwing shots at those who felt like they could take advantage of me and use me as the butt end of the joke in this section before because I refused to stoop to the level and be a dick in favor of staying on topic and trying to talk baseball.

And the ones who have taken shots at me are on the hook for some pretty terrible fucking takes in this section that are going to be fun to exploit.
