I dated two Western PA girls back to back, had to pretend to like their fathers. This guy gets a lot right:

-Regional pride
-Hoarding
-Distrust of anything made in the past 25 years
-Questionable enjoyment of fatherhood

Rax was good but not good enough. It destroyed itself with the worst marketing campaign of all time, Mr Delicious. Look it up. It seriously ran itself out of business by bumming out potential customers with a completely unrelateable mascot. See Quiznos.

There are still something like 6-8 franchises left between Ohio and Kentucky or some other state.

Been to both, neither are worth the effort. Rax is shitty Arby's, and Shoney's is a more white trash version of Denny's.

Never made it to richards.

Funny thing about cracker barrel or waffle house....both have fantastic tasting breakfast food, but both are so white trash.

Denny's to me is only ok at best

I went to a Crackle Barrel either in Willoughby or Mentor years ago. Got food poisoning.

Same thing happened to me. First time I went to a Cracker Barrel I got food poisoning. Have never gone back.
