This is really the saddest part of it all. To think we could have a Michael Thomas-Terrelle Pryor one-two punch, which would be among the best WR duos in the league. Instead we have....a practice squad player and a 3rd down RB? Fuck me.

Throw them to the wolves for what? We have the absolute best draft capital in the league already. There's really no incentive for us to tank this year. Kizer won't get better sitting 16 games behind Hogan and Kessler even if they could survive for 16 games.

I was defending Kizer.

Chris said he's a bit discouraged.

In his second game starting. With a shitty running game, shitty receivers, and one of the best defense's in the league.

Asking a rookie QB to go into Baltimore and win the game with his arm, was unrealistic.

There's a lot to learn from NFL practices.

If he struggles this bad, any coach should sit him down and regain his composure. That's for his own good.

If he loses his confidence and spends a large part of the season getting fucking drilled like has thus far. We'd be crazy not to pull him.

I don't like how he takes so make unnecessary hits. He's like, you know, the future is he not?

If he can't learn to protect himself better, then yes, you get him the fuck out of there just for that alone before he ends up on the IR for the season.

This. Everybody is quick to shit on Kizer but his WR's are doing him zero favors. I knew we didn't have any true playmakers going into the season, but I never thought I would see our WR's not run routes at full speed and drop 5+ passes a game.

Kizer, or any other QB this team drafts, will never be successful until they place an urgency on surrounding the QB with legitimate WR's.

Donovan made a point about how shitty these players are at just doing simple fucking things like route running and knowing when to turn around to catch the ball.
