On top of it all, I have to deal with an office full of Cubs fans tomorrow. Pulling hard for the Nats.

Cy Young starter starter twice on full rest and was off both games

Two best offensive players hit .100 for the five game series.

Very good closer doesn't have true elite stuff to close it down in tight situations or just picked a bad night to not be able to finish off a 3rd out

Top RBI producer missed essentially three games

Just can't win and don't deserve to win a series under those circumstances. And especially not with a clown of a ump in a win or go home series finale.

The team, under the right circumstances had enough to win and was provided enough to win.

Absolutely ZERO blame should go to the FO or ownership. And maybe that's why it hurts even more, it wasn't a case of just being overmatched or being a bad news bears undertalented team that didn't have enough to compete with the big bad Yankees

Dude what do the teams in the fucking 50's have to do with this current team

How can you possibly have hope for the Cavs but not the Indians? The warriors are in a league of their own

Nah, the Cavs are clearly the 2nd best team with the best player. They were a Korver miss away from a 2-2 Series.

The Indians were maybe the 4th best team. I had HOU, CHC, WAS all ahead and I liked this young Bomber club. This isn’t a shocking outcome.

Look any time the Indians win the division it should be considered a great season. They had a great season and you should be proud. Only one team can win, and this year (and the last 70) it wasn’t us. But that 1947 team was great.

Well the general felling before the game was we were gonna lose, next time we have to bet on it because we were pretty big favorites to win this game

No...not one bit.

Anyone who blames Tito is aiming way, way, way off course...like Erik Gonzalez throwing error in game 2 off course.
Thanks for making my point.

Erik Gonzalez should have been watching this series from the fucking couch.

With the way we were playing I think Houston would've worked us

One of the reasons I don't understand people saying this hurts more than last year. Last year we were so fucking close. This year we still had 2 very hard series ahead of us
Mostly because even if you lose in the World Series... hey, you at least made it to the World Series. You got another 2 weeks worth of high intensity games. In baseball that’s a damn good accomplishment in and of itself.

It wouldn’t hurt so bad to me if we made it to the ALCS and got smoked by Houston, because it would have been a more “successful” season.

Plain and simply, the Indians didn't deserve to win this series

Nope, they weren't even the Indians the last 2 games.

Now hopefully this convinces them to pony up some money for Santana, which I think they do, because I want this group, plus Zimmer, Mejia, and Diaz coming back for blood next year.

There are no such things as curses

Cmon guys ffs

The curse of the fucking goat really didn't help us last year...

This wasn't a curse, this was a team that got fucked over by the umps, and just came up short when they needed to be big.

I'm not mad either.

Just so much weirdness. Impossible to predict.

-Probable Cy Young winner gives up 9 runs in two starts.

-No. 1 defense makes 9 errors in three games.

-Best reliever in the league gives up a HR to a left-handed hitter.

-Guys that are going to finish 3rd and 4th in MVP combine to go 4-for-38.

Sounds like a team not being mentally prepared. This is where you have to put blame of Tito as well. When the team didn't perform upto it's potential across tbe board isn't a large part of that on the manager?
