Erik Gonzalez being on this team wasn't why this team lost.

We were up 2-0.

Our #4 hitter missed 2 games, our 3 best players didn't show up to the post season, to the tune of 4 combined hits in 5 games and 7 ER in 6.2 IP, and our defense turned to shit.

None of that is on Francona. Francona had us in a perfect spot after game 2. Everything else was either tough luck (Edwin), or players pissing down their pants when NY punched them in the mouth in game 3.
 
Fuck Jason Kipnis right off this team. Useless, all year.

Massive choke by everyone involved. From Kluber all the way to the end of the roster. Not one of these fuckers showed up. Maybe Bryan Shaw, count him I guess.

I cannot sleep I am so angry.
 
MLB should institute a rule that allows for the top seeded team to pick who they get to play.

WC team now 26-24 against top seeded team since 2012 when the second WC was added.

The players obviously choked.

You can certainly second guess some of Francona's roster decisions, but it's hard to throw a lot of blame his way when SO MANY guys were pretty much useless at the plate.
 
Change the logo. Even if you don't think it's a curse it's utterly embarrassing. I'm watching my team in a do or die playoff game and the camera is zooming in on a logo that wouldn't get approved to be used if a team tried to switch to it tomorrow. Get rid of it.
 
I don’t think this team has the leaders to come back stronger and win it.

That’s what they were supposed to do THIS year.

I think you have to trade talent for heart. Sorry to say. The team, as presently constituted, will get no further.

winning fucking games that matter does.

Just hoping this team continues to spend money on players and free agents. Don't let the Yankees and Red Sox buy up teams again. No money ball stuff. Keep swinging for that damn trophy.

His plan for Game 4 was inexcusable and leaving Yandy off the roster was inexcusable. Period.

This isn't hindsight either. You can find me and many others making the same points when the roster was announced a couple weeks ago.

Our stars choked, massively. But this was still a winnable series and Tito didn't put the team in the best position to win.

He deserves blame and he will get it.

When your ace has a 9.45 ERA in 2 starts, and your 4 best offensive players, on paper, (Frankie, Jose, Edwin, Brantley) combine for 5 hits in 5 games, you shouldn't win 1 game, let alone 2.
