None of this is random. Look around. Look. OBSERVE. Where do you see randomness? Anywhere? If you were to be honest, you will see order and structure in existence everywhere... Just look at your body. Its safe to say that nothing but randomness put together the extremely complex design of the human anatomy? Thats just ONE molecule in all of creation. Everything is in order by intelligent design.... Just like your phone, your TV, planes, trains, and automobiles.. everything is designed with great intellect. What makes man any different? Trees? Plants? Oxygen? Everything needs each other, yet, this is all a bunch of randomness? You are kidding nobody but yourself if you say you believe this.

Lets look the simplicity of a seed.. It is so small and plain to sight.. but it is everything but....

A simple seed... if you plant it, give it water, oxygen, and over time, it grows and gives shelter to animals, man, it gives food, oxygen, paper, etc etc etc... and that seed of that tree comes from itself to multiply just as God commanded it to do.

"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good." (Genesis 1:11-12)

Therefore, my faith rests peacefully with an almighty, all-knowing, and all powerful God KNOWING the truth of the matters that men seek day and night to know, yet remain in darkness.

Because Jesus Christ is the light of the world and I am now found in Him, I too, will walk in light knowing the truth just as He is the truth, Amen.

There's no way people could know that they'd come back, otherwise I imagine you'd have far more people committing suicide.

However, I do think reincarnation could be possible. Though if it is, I doubt it would be limited to the time after you die. You could probably come back at any point in time in any reality.

Adding the dates in the Bible from Adam and Eve to present date, it is approximately 6-7 thousand years old. According to the information provided.

Ok, in all seriousness here, I see really hard core Christians (the 6000 year old types) say this stuff, but then they never say specifically how the dating has been proven wrong. Can someone fill me in?

I have read interesting stories on incarnation. Past-life memories seem to be strongest in very young children who often forget things by the time they are 7 or 8.

The stories of the past Dalai Lamas, and how they are chosen, is fascinating.

They then use potassium argon, or other methods, and date the fossils again.

They do this many times, using a different dating method each time. The results can be as much as 150 million years different from each other! - how’s that for an "exact" science?"

We have an enemy that operates in the spiritual realm which can give false visions and visions like they gave the false prophet mohammad. like they give psychics info of past and the present of somebody, likewise, they can show things to people as well. You need to know the enemy, you need to know the truth so you dont get sucked into the vortex of lies and deception. Amen.

Yes he had visions and "revelations" when he would come back from trances he fell into. This is well documented.

No different than psychics. A lot of what they say is non-sense and lies.. but at the same time, they can give you factual information about somebody pertaining to their past and / or present byway of demonic spirits that are present in that persons life. Its sorcery. wicca.

Guys like this poster reminds me of why I loved books like Candide and the Hitchikcers Guide to the Galaxy series so much.

Apologies in advance to all those I'm about to offend, but I can not and will not ever take seriously the belief that their was a creator(edit: entity that made the world with a specific purpose in mind, typically described in human centric terms and qualities).

And certainly not a creator who only accounts for certain regions of the world, certain peoples, peoples that survived and advanced vs people's who died out of were assimilated.

The creator myth is a solely human driven vehicle and one that is based out of a human centric world and universe view.

Simply my opinions. I appreciate and respect those that congregate around concepts and stories of helping, sharing, community, love and inclusion, even if I do not agree or respect the actual seed idea they are congregating around.

As for the Creator of this thread, the foundations of what he constantly refers back to as the "truth" means no more to me and holds no more water to me as works such as Aesops Fables(in terms of explaining our existence, not the massive influence as impact these religions have had on our human and worldly histories)
