Welcome 8th Pick from Brooklyn

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Meaningless poll, but lets play....where will the pick end up after the lottery?

Lebron is not leaving...he knows staying and not winning another chip will help his legacy more than if he left and won with houston

This thread should entirely be focused on our LOTTERY pick (most likely 8th pick)... If I see one more post about Jevon fucking Carter in this thread I'm going to HAVE to block/ignore CTownSportsFan and I feel like I'm the only one left that's still tolerating his trolling.

Reading in the Mavs forum they seem to believe the Hornet's 11th pick could be had for eating Batum's contract.

Would you consider taking on Batum & Zeller's contracts for their pick?

We would save them approx $80M. They could full blown tank next year and then roll into the summer of 19' with a shit ton of cap space ($70-80M) and the #1 overall pick.

Owning at worst the 8th & 11th pick could give us a ton of options heading into the summer.

If Bron goes anywhere I'm hoping it's Philly so we can fleece them of Fultz in a S&T. I also wouldn't be surprised if he brought Love along with him and forces Philly to trade for him.

Outgoing - Bron & Love
Incoming - Fultz, Philly 10th & 26th

That would give us 4 first rounders to rebuild with and 3 in the top 12.

Fultz
8th pick
10th pick
11th pick
26th pick
Hood
Nance
Osman
Zizic
Clarkson

Vets: Batum, Korver, Zeller, Tristan

I want Saric as well for the GOAT and Top 5 PF.

Draft JEvon Carter , you guys can figure out who to draft with the remaining picks, just get me JC with 1 of them.

Trade Korver and his expiring c and one of the picks for Kanter. Enforcer bitch slap Bron/Embiid. LBJ is the enemy now if on Philly so it’s fair game. Bring Calderon back just because he’s cool af nerdy guy.

Get rid of Gilbert/FO/Staff .

Fultz/JC
Batum/Hood/Clarkson
Hood/Cedi/Batum/draft pick in no order*
Kanter/Zizic/Saric/Draft pick as our 4 and 5 in no order. Maybe bring back Frye to hang out and clean jock straps.

If anyone dislikes this post, I’ll call you Francis

I'm going to throw a name out there that I think is more realistic now than it was at the beginning of the season, and also because it seems more realistic than some of the other options being thrown around: Devin Booker.

Booker is on the record now saying he's not missing the playoffs again next year. Well, I have to think the Suns aren't delusional enough to think they'll make the playoffs barring some crazy moves. I also can't imagine Booker has built up enough clout with that fan base that they'll revolt if they trade him. He's due for a big extension, and the Suns may feel that it's simply not worth it. The Cavs could send Phoenix the 8th pick and Rodney Hood as a cheaper replacement. The Suns would have two top-10 picks, Jackson, Warren, Hood, Bender. They could potentially grab Ayton and Young. Ayton, Young, Jackson, Warren, Hood is a pretty good starting 5 for a young team.

Why would the Cavs do it? Well, Booker has proven to be a very good scorer on and off the ball. He has drastically improved his playmaking chops (go look at his 3rd year numbers compared to Kyrie, and they compare super favorably). He's also a knockdown shooter. He's not a great defender, but that hasn't really stopped them before. He's also only 21 years old, which a pretty serious injection of youth on a team that sorely needs it.

I like the out of the box thinking, but I would argue that unless we have someone truly handling the offense from a coach perspective Booker probably looses value as a second option. You need a real sharp offensive mind that can have action running to one side while Lebron is reading the defense.

My second concern would be that he is close to Kyrie. I recall Kyrie mentioning texting him on Road Trippin at some point.

Lastly he is on a rookie deal. Its super cap friendly for one more season. They could overpay a few guys for that one year of winning to stabilize the culture before they max him out. Similar to what Philly did this year by paying guys like Roddick & Ilyasova.

Love his game. I think he would be fantastic next to Lebron. He is on every billboard out there, it is going to be tough. Id argue it would be more difficult to acquire him than some of the big names we all discuss.

This is as crazy as using the Lebron TPE for Igoudala or Granger back in 2010....and yes people discussed it around here.

That is a huge problem waiting to happen. Have fun paying all those guys in back to back years. There are reasons teams rarely draft more than 2 guys in the same draft.

You are much better off keeping Kevin for a year, giving him the option to stay for the rebuild and culture.....or trading him as an expiring if he is up for it.

If the Suns throw in pick 16 so we can nab Jevon Carter to pair with Booker that would be one hella back court for the next decade and complement each other very well, then I’m on board!!!

Whatever Francis, Kanter was a top Center verse opposing centers . His head to head numbers speak volumes.

Don't mind the haters and the disagrees. Geniuses are only appreciated after their death.

Terrible...I won't dislike your post so you don't call me Francis. I'm not a crazy person.

I agree with all of this except I don't understand why Jevon Carter isn't starting.
