2018 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
And LeBron loves him, "give me a Damian Lillard, Ill show you to appreciate" or some shit
Could be a Love fest. Lillard/LBJ/Love gotta be a nic name in there I’m missing with 3 amigo names starting with L. Mix in Kanter/Zizic at center and JC coming off the bench to run the second unit and provide elite defense.

Edit , just came to me, be nice if it were 4 L’s with Leonard.

Bledsoe has been bad, but Snell has been dreadful. He's a fucking corpse. I don't understand coaches who are unwilling to pull the trigger on lineup changes quickly for middling players.

Jeff Green and Tony Snell do not warrant a second chance in the playoffs. Brogdon should have started tonight and it shouldn't have been a tough decision. Now its 2-0 and maybe too late.
Delly’s star flickered our fast, dude can’t even see a minute in garbage time .

This is Lillard bad defense come home to roost. Jrue is just running roughshod over him at will, and if he is dropping 30pts then this will be a short series. Stotts can't put McCollum on him and the plan was to put Aminu on AD. If you have to move Aminu on Jrue, you are in trouble!

Take a look at this and count how many times Lillard can't stay in front of him, loses track of him, or dies on a screen. It looks they did move Aminu to him late, but he was hot and cooked him as well.

Love that the Blazers & Wizards are getting shelled. This is perfect. I hope those series' end up in sweeps or 5 games max.

We may get a star out of the Brooklyn pick after all..

we'll keep the pick , no point getting someone for Brooklyn pick when Lebron has left.

Lol, you are going to regret it if it happens. I swear to god if we end up with Beal or McCollum it's going to be bad.

You want McCollum? guy is a chucker that can't play defense and is just getting exposed out there and is on a ridiculously bad contract, especially for what he provides.

Lillard is a perennial Playoffs choker, a chucker and a liability on defense. Needs the refs in his pocket in order to get his rhythm offensively.

Beal is another player on a bad contract that is not a difference maker.

I don't see how they anyone of them is a difference maker. You look at them in the playoffs, and you are honestly impressed?

Why do we want the players from teams that consistenly don't do shit in the playoffs and expect them to make a difference on the Cavs with Lebron James and our coaching staff?

The Cavs are hardly in the position to nitpick over what stars they should acquire. Adding any star to this roster this summer would be a godsend. Any star level guard, however flawed, would be a massive upgrade. Especially guards that can shoot like Lillard, CJ, and Beal. An argument could be made that the Cavs have the worst guard rotation out of any playoff team.

So I'll go through one by one.

McCollum - Yeah he's not great on defense but he's been a fine shooter in the Playoffs throughout his career. He's a reliable scorer that doesn't have to rely on others. And he'd also look great playing off LeBron.

Lillard - He's definitely disappointed in the playoffs in his career but he's also been asked to be the #1 option on a team that simply isn't very good. Unsurprisingly, his best playoffs was his first playoffs when he was the #2 option to LMA. Frankly, I think he could be about as good here as Kyrie was as the #2 option. Lillard also has some dog in him and plays hard which would make this time a thousand times more fun to watch than they are currently. And I think he would be capable of playing decent defense when needed. Of these 3 players he's easily my top choice.

Beal - Better on defense than McCollum, but his 3 ball has not been as good in the playoffs. He's got good size for a guard. I think his 3 ball would look better in the playoffs with LeBron. I'd take Beal over McCollum.

Why do we want the players from teams that consistenly don't do shit in the playoffs and expect them to make a difference on the Cavs with Lebron James and our coaching staff?
Because I think playing with LeBron would greatly benefit each of these players.

And this too. It's way more likely we end up with one of these guys or maybe PG than someone like Kawhi or Anthony Davis.

Simply put, we need a talent upgrade, period. Beggars can't be choosers.

Boy. I'd definitely say we have a better chance at Kawhi than PG at this point.

Now I'm not going to fall into the bottomless "they'll be better with LeBron trap." That rarely is the case for star players. I definitely won't buy Lillard playing better defense. Not on this team and LeBron half-assing it on defense all years. If anything, it'll probably be worse. I also don't imagine Lillard being made available. He's the far superior player to McCollum.

Yeah, you're probably right.

So, you think CJ & Beal are better off playing with Lillard & Wall than playing with LeBron? Huh?

And I think Lillard would play better defense in the playoffs when it counts.

There's no way in hell that Portland is giving up Damian Lillard for our crappy lottery pick. They wouldn't trade him for the pick + KLove + Cedi. Teams don't give up superstars in their prime unless the superstar asks out, and even then they should fight like hell to keep them (I'm looking at you, Cleveland front office).

You're being an idiot, there's nothing crappy about an 8th best odds lottery pick in a stacked draft including the fact that the lottery form hasn't even been set yet. Just sign out and forget your password with takes like this. I get it you like being a voice of reason, but this is just idiotic, 'crappy'.

Like some are saying above.. I would take ANY star guard at this point over hill hood jr and Calderon.. come on now.. and lebron makes anyone better.. maybe not stars always on the stat sheet cuz they are sharing it with other star players now but by turning them into winners.
