Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
2 more losses and you will find his corpse in the back of a dumpster.

Anyone blaming this loss on Lue needs to find a new sport to follow .
He got out coached in the 2nd half and played Lebron for the entire half. He sucks. Just deal dude. He literally had his best and worst halves in the playoffs in one game.

Did you guys notice the timeouts? LeBron on one side, Love on the other, and Lue is talking to the rest of the team.. dont know if thats just me but this team is so disfunctional... If Lue isn't coaching.. I expect Lebron to communicate with his teamates and guide them.. beside some nice assits at the start and taking solo shots at the end.. there was no communication...

He coached a great first half but his biggest flaw is one of the many reasons we lost tonight.

It took us two games to realize our best strategy was to double Oladipo with a hard trap. So we basically did that in the first half. Along with ball movement and guys actually making shots. 3 things that we did well.

In the 2nd half of the game, when a good coach in Nate McMillan made adjustments, Lue relied on Jeff Green when passive LeBron came to shore. He did nothing to counteract the pressure the Pacers were putting on us. He also didn't give any shit to the refs (if he doesn't call the refs out tonight, he should lose his job. Hell, he should just lose his job). We knew they were going to come out with intensity and our squad did NOTHING, which goes on Lue and LeBron. I hope he's canned overnight.

BS.. playing LeBron the whole 2nd half means what ? Nothing at all . Like I said find a new sport to follow. His defense held the opposing team to 92 points in a game a chucker scored 1/3 of those. With no elite defenders . Interior D was amazing and so were the rotations . This game is 100% on the players.. cough cough Altman .

Things done well
- Trap/double Oladipo
- Take Jose out of the rotation
- Keep Tristan out of the rotation

Things done poorly
- 2nd half
- Defense on Bogdanovic

It's not all Lue's fault. But I don't think he's great at adjusting in-game.

Lue is a guy who works the entire year on strategies for the playoffs. Which is good. But if that strategy has issues within a game in the playoffs, then he's probably not going to be the best guy at adjusting to it within the game itself.

Love dominated that first half and they move to ISO for almost 20 minutes to begin the 2nd half. Such a disappointment how the Cavs seem to avoid Love like the plague whenever he has a great first half.

How about bringing Cedi in for some energy when we were flat as fuck?

How about trying to get Love some touches in the elbow and have LeBron make cuts etc.

Lue isn't the only one to blame and frankly, this roster isn't really that good. But we are still under-performing and Lue is a major reason for that!

Man did we try and play it way too safe this summer.

Needed to be fired. Gonna really cost us.

I wanted him to play Cedi but its too late. Cant insert him into the rotation in a must win playoff game as his first action.

But hes the ONLY other guy on the roster who can put a defender on their heels and get to the rim. Literally the only one after LBJ. We needed to see what he could bring. Game 1, while getting blown out, would have been a great time.

Cavs have run out of timeouts in 200 straight close games. I just made up that stat, but would it surprise you?

He must have forgot to tell Lebron to play his game and be aggressive.

I sincerely wish Cedi and Zizic were getting minutes in this series.

For the first half tonight, everything looked amazing. Unfortunately, there are two halves.

Everything is not Lue's fault. But he's not necessarily going to find the solution, either.

Jason Lloyd: Ty Lue is at this best in the playoffs and that's why I don't criticize him.

Well.. I am waiting for those hit pieces. Where ta fuck are the receipts LloyD??!!
