Cleveland Browns Quarterback Position

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why would this be an "analytics" pick?

Is that designation solely based on his PFF grade?
Because (even with system) he's quite obviously one of the most statistically productive and accurate quarterbacks in college football history.

I'm not defending Mayfield at #1. I just think it's pretty self-explanatory.

Yeah, man. One thing we know is that in draft day trade negotiations, the two teams always reveal their draft plans to help their competitors. It's a genius move, really.

If they’re confident in who they’re going to be getting at 1 why wouldn’t they put out feelers for who wants to trade up if X, Y, and Z are still on the board?

I’m tired of the “loves football” being a positive characteristic or selling point.

How many of these players have been playing their entire fucking life? And it wasn’t obvious enough that a vast majority have loved it merely by getting themselves to this point?

Josh Allen has been a guaranteed Top 10 pick for months now and as the draft gets closer, it seems like he could easily go Top 5, Top 3, or #1 overall.

How his an agent or some PR person doesn't spend 15 minutes searching certain words on his twitter feed to find and delete embarrassing/problematic tweets is honestly unbelievable to me. It happened with Wentz and Trubisky (them more so embarrassing/immature stuff) and recently that DiVincenzo guy on Villanova. Larry Nance Jr. too after he got drafted with the Lakers

It's baffling to me

Man, if I had a nickel for all the other fucking washouts you've said this about.

Name them. And before the draft. Not after.

Fact is I was HEAVY Watson and HEAVY Jimmy G before last years draft and very much so on Wentz the year before.

What? We're all operating under the assumption Baker is the pick. Lets not pretend otherwise.

Name the guys that washed that I was super high on BEFORE previous drafts. Not after the Browns took them. I’m an irrational as fuck fan so I’ll hop on and support anyone drafted.

I think before the draft I have a pretty damn good eye for guys who will be good.

Once again I was heavy in on Jimmy G, Watson last year (when NO ONE wanted Watson) Wentz the year before.

You guys are going to FUCKING LOVE Baker in 2 years and this thread will be incredible to reach back to.

Multiple all pros. We have a FQB.

He's not the guy I would have picked, but I'm just a schmuck with a keyboard, and you could very well be right. What amazes me are the people who are so absolutely certain they are correct when talking about an endeavor (the NFL draft) in which certainty for this kind of decision simply isn't possible.

None of us were in the interview rooms. None of us were there at the white board sessions. But from all accounts, Mayfield is basically a bigger, stronger, harder-working, better-armed, and more mature version of Manziel. And a guy like that may be extraordinarily successful in the NFL. That will depend upon a lot of things that are impossible for us to know for sure.

What I do think is interesting is that an old-school guy like Dorsey apparently was okay with him despite the DUI and similar concerns. He must have just impressed the hell out of them. That's particularly true given that the shadow of Manziel kind of hangs over the franchise. They have to know that the narrative is going to be "here they go again." Yet, they picked him anyway. So again, it is somewhat comforting that they think enough of this guy's football ability to pick him despite all the easy to list downsides.

Hey @Triplethreat, would you mind finishing yourself off in the comfort of your bathroom before continuing to post? It's getting borderline creepy in here.

Here's some fap material. Have a field day, pal.
