The bold was the point. We were talking about Browns fans loving Browns players when they're drafted. I don't care about players that went to other teams.

Thing is, the stuff that actually breaks on the day of the draft itself is almost always right. Not always...but almost. And given that Dorsey confirmed yesterday that Jimmie and other key players on the staff and FO knew who the pick was, it seems like the time for valid leaks is upon us.
 
I don’t understand. That would be all over ESPN’s front page just like it broke with Garrett last year.

Yet we are speaking as if it’s actually happened. At least reserve your anger until it’s actually... happened

Okay well Baker hasn’t even been drafted here.

Look back to the college season where I am consistently boasting Baker as the best QB in the draft, because I think he is. And I think the tape shows it.

This isn’t just because he’s coming here.

I laid off because I didn’t think he was even possible to be picked #1. But now that he’s the likely pick??? You best believe I’m going full tilt.

However, nothing of substance has actually broken (yet). We're going off of a report of what other GMs and coaches think. Not sure that lends any insight?

Last year a lot of people were saying Mitch on the day of the draft. Even Schefter, IIRC.

I truly couldn't imagine a worse fit for what Hue Jackson has put on tape over the last two seasons.

You're assuming two things that are both likely incorrect: Mayfield playing significant minutes this season, and Jackson being here beyond this year.
