2018 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kyrie went hero ball on a two for one...

However, the missed call when Klay fouled Love (Cavs were up 6 with under 2:30 to go) ended up being a 4 point swing.

Win that game I think we would have went 7.....*sigh*

Don’t forget Korver defecating all the way down his leg and into his shoes...

I've said it before, but the reason I'd rather play Houston is simple, LBJ doesn't have to guard KD. That will be huge to play against a team where LBJ can conserve a little energy on defense and not have to do literally everything.

Houston has some great role players, but I feel like they are more one dimensional than GSW's. You know their roles and they can't get quite as creative as GSW's lineups. But if Cp3 gets to the Finals, I think he will really ball out on another level. He has been waiting to get to the Finals for so long.

Overall, we just match up so much better with Houston even if we are still underdogs talent wise.

D'Antoni is also not as good of a defensive coach as Kerr. Also remember Kerr comes from Popovich's coaching tree(and PHil too..but Pop first and foremost) and Kerr did a great job forcing LBJ into tough decisions with the ball last year and GS always makes it really hard on LBJ. They cant stop him from scoring because nobody can but they take away his ability to get everyone else going better than any other team. Houston has some decent individual defenders but they are NOT going to have even 10% of the resistance against LBJ that GS puts up.

Still don't think we are lucky enough to get Houston but if by some miracle it actually happens I am going to look forward to the finals. Really a great situation for us....everyone would expect us to lose but I actually think we'd have a chance and if LeBron manages to beat the 65 win Houston team that just took down the mighty Warriors? That's a pretty amazing addition to the resume and really helps shape and define his legacy.

Someone on here posted that they thought LeBron's effort/mood against the Celtics immediately started to change as soon as Houston won a game and looked like they had a chance? I personally don't believe in that completely...a little too "tin foil hat" for my liking at the moment but I definitely know for 100% certain that LeBron would be ecstatic to play the Rockets instead of the Warriors in the Finals and really believes that we could bring home a trophy in that circumstance. He will never admit it publicly but LeBron himself doesn't believe there's a realistic shot for us to beat the Warriors because they're so talented, such a bad matchup for us, and to add to LeBron's frustration even he realizes they make things harder on him than any other team,

I had a post typed up declaring the Rockets dead when GS got up 10 in the third. Could have sworn I hit post.

@Ohio
You're becoming notorious for this shit man :chuckle:

Won't even lie though, I did not expect them to come back like they did tonight. Especially with Harden vomiting all over himself. An impressive team effort lead by CP3.

I’m telling y’all without iggy, completely diff team especially defensively. Durant can’t play help defense.

Less ball movement too.

Green just doesn't look like the same player as 2 years ago. He's still great defensively but his lift looks more like his college game then when he was DPOY and a beast on offense. (could be he's getting worn out by the minutes as well but this happened in the regular season as well)

You combine that with Iggy hurt that when you get to see a glimmer in Lebron's eyes. They're going to score but if we can put up points guys like Durant tend to fade and they don't have a lot of depth. Iggy with his defense, running and passing makes them so difficult normally and suddenly it's an a very talented team but not one that operates at that machine like efficiency

It wasn't a great shooting game by Harden, but he legit brought them back from the brink in the first half.

Yeah, I meant to say "in the 2nd half"

He was a disgrace in the 2nd half

Yup imo a healthy iggy is more valuable than a healthy Durant IMO.

Lebron absolutely shit on iggy when he tweaked his back during the 3-1 comeback, and don’t get me wrong, they are still favs to beat us, but the lebron factor shines brighter.

? No you stop. In the series against us if I had a choice I’d rather have no iggy. Lebron will get Durant in foul trouble.

The issues are curry and klay.

With iggy and those 2, would destroy us and pick us apart on our weaknesses. Especially with curry heaving makeable heartbreaking 3s.

Stats also show he’s crazy good with Durant on the bench. So no, you stop.

That's fine. You go with that. I'd prefer to eliminate the 30 point scorer that torched everyone in front of him last finals.
