Bayless/Holmes and a second rounder,,,this is the rumor...not thrilled about it.

Holmes is some what interesting. But pretty meh. Should have demanded a first or Furkan or the draft rights to Anzejs Pasceniks. Oh well.

Bayless is a shittier Clarkson. If this trade doesn't bring back a quality pick, keep Korver as a player coach.

Well Channing Frye would likely be happy if Bayless was brought in. Both Alumni of St.Marys in Phoenix and both went to U of A. Clearly means nothing but still cool that both went to the same HS.

We should be able to get a late first for him. OKC is the first team that comes to mind. LA, MIL, DEN, IND, etc. There will definitely be teams interested.

No, they shouldn't. He's 37. Future firsts are getting harder and harder to obtain. Unprotected future firsts are almost never moved (Miami's 2021 first is the only unprotected future first out there right now).

People will need to recalibrate their expectations in today's NBA.

Holmes shot 35% from 3 in 2016-2017 but shot like 15% his rookie year and last season. How did he take such a step back last season?

Yeah I am not thrilled about a lame pick. Korver has more value just in helping Cedi develop his 3 pointer let alone Young bull. Bayless yuck. Furkan I would like

I hope the front office know they don't have to settle on Korvers value. He is on a very team friendly deal and the Sixers know they won't be able to get a shooter of that caliber easily. They aren't going to luck into getting shooters from buyouts like last season.

I hope they just look at Bayless as an expiring to use later and are pushing for a young player or good asset. Holmes while some what intriguing, shouldn't be seen as much more than a throw in especially with the depth we have at center. His 3 point percentage from 2016-2017 would have to be his future average if we see him as one of our future bigs. He is in his last year of his contract and the sixers reduced his minutes last year.

Preston, Nance, Zizic, Thompson... Holmes doesn't provide anything that the others don't and he's due for a contract the same time Nance unless they see it as insurance (They're obviously pretty high on Nance). This is terrible on that point alone IMO

It's made even worse because it's a tell that our path to tanking is on it's way so the "we're keeping Love" charade immediately ends. Just seems directionless unless it involves the 2021 Miami Heat pick, which I don't think is the case.

Not only but also, if we show that we are in no hurry to trade our vets for scraps we get a better offer for Love
