Hard Knocks

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hue sounds like an idiot when he tells the player they’re cut. The I’ll do anything to help you line is loaded bullshit.
I’m pretty sure coaches call to get feedback on the players work habits. Hue or any coach giving good recommendations could be the difference in a team signing the player or not.

Right. For example. Hue and Mike Zimmer in MIN are friendly from their years in CIN. MIN is not in our division or conference and not on our schedule. So if the Vikings are considering signing someone to their roster or practice squad who was in camp with the Browns, he’d possibly call up Hue to get a feel for the players attitude, work ethic, etc.

Like this post if you either imagined Roback's girlfriend on a stripper pole or imagined what her taint tastes like.

She is definitely rachet. Of course Brogan is a rock head so he’s actually done well for himself. Nice guy though.

I feel like they didn't show dorsey all that much. Was hoping to see more of him instead of guys that were going to be cut.

I don’t get media people saying this was one of the best seasons ever. I thought it was just “good”. Jarvis is someone they see as a great leader and I hope he can be one that leads the turnaround. His time on camera by himself and with Haley, great. But the players they focused a lot on

Cajuste - hated every second he was on camera
Roback
Orchard
Nassib

All cut.

I know you have to show different personalities throughout the series. But we didn’t see any Duke, Denzel, Jamie Collins, Schobert, Chubb (other than airport scene), Peppers or Ogunjobi. Good season, didn’t think it was best ever.

I've never seen Hard Knocks before so have nothing to compare it to, but I agree. They wasted so much time on players nobody cares about instead of players that actually matter. I don't know if that is usual or not, but as a first timer it was kinda disappointing in that regard.

They likely capture footage of just about everyone and then come up with some story lines or players that are compelling, likely even using a polled audience.

I don’t mind the studs not being in the limelight. It might mean that they were too busy focusing on their craft and not promoting their brands. I just wish they got Myles to go off for 1/2 an episode on dinosaurs. Like 30 straight minutes of dinosaur discussion.

I literally don't think I saw Hyde, Schobert, or Jamie Collins one time the entire series. And they didn't really talk about a single rookie besides Baker and Brogan.

It was entertaining as hell, but I've seen Hard Knocks give a lot more of those fringe players attention, even if it was just for a few minutes and they get to explain their backstory.

Another thing I noticed, Meder didn’t dress in the final preseason game. He probably thought he was safe. Then boom, gone.

From what I've gathered, there are a lot of players who simply don't want to have anything to do with it. For example, the OL players (Wylie didn't have a choice) apparently decided as a group that they weren't going to participate, and would fine each other internally if they did. I imagine other players waved off interviews, or would otherwise decline to talk, etc., if they were on camera.
