Cleveland Browns 2018 Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not sure, but it's interesting that a GM/coaching staff who doesn't seem to have issues jettisoning the past regime's players is having trouble letting go of DeValve. He hasn't contributed much of anything & still finds himself among the 53.

There is a reason why we are holding on to Devalve. Once he is healthy he should be able to cause mismatches when you pair him with Njoku. Defenses are barely set up to handle one guy of Njoku or Devalve size and pass catching ability, put a second one on the field and one of them is going to have a major mismatch.

Njoku and Devalve are both 6'3 245, that's linebacker size. The 20 pounds they have over a guy like Devon Cajuste is a big advantage when team have to think about if they put a linebacker or Safety on them.

I know it wasn't going to happen, but holy hell, Khalil Mack would have made the Browns D an historical terror for QBs.

Dude is single-handidly beating the Seahawks.

Would have easily been worth a similar package for what the bears paid. Especially considered he signed a new contract.

SEA offense looks ten times worse than ours. Jeez.

If it wasnt for the anti-crystal healing owners and their petty blackballing, Cajuste would be on this team.

You sure won't find no crystals for sale at your local Pilot Flying J. 'cept maybe out back.

I dont know what you are seeing. Your third eye is fogged. You need to connect with the indigo geology. Get some black obsidian in your life next time the Browns take the field and unclutter.

But the decision to cut ties with Gordon -- the team said he would be released Monday -- brought varying responses.

"It’s tough because he’s a special talent, but at the same time some decisions get made that you don’t really have control over," quarterback Tyrod Taylor said.

Receiver Rahsard Higgins told ESPN Cleveland the decision to release Gordon was "shocking to us."

Jarvis Landry declined to talk about the decision.

"That’s a brother to us," Higgins said. "We respect him. We still have his back."

Did Higgins understand the decision?

"I still have questions, definitely," he said.

Lol, team sounds on board with the Gordon move!!!!!

I really wonder what the plan is for Chubb. Hyde has been Crowell 2.0 thus far. Duke would be better served as a reciever/change of pace back. Hue/Haley have no idea how to fit Duke into the offense, but traditional carries up the gut just isn't going to work. The opportunity should be there for Chubb if things don't change.

Has Jamie Collins checked out?
