2018 ALDS | Cleveland Indians vs. Houston Astros | Starts Oct. 5th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wow, how much money have Miller and Allen cost/lost themselves in the past 4-5 months? They’ll still get paid but likely nowhere near what they would have gotten had they had seasons consistent to their previous 3-4 years.

Fuck Jose.

If people can fuck LeBron all season while he's a Cav and shit, then I can sit here and say FUCK JOSE.

I feel bad for Jose actually. Likable guy. Can you imagine how shitty he is going to feel all winter?

Im sure Miller will sign with the Yankees and resort back to 2016 Miller.

Team just didn’t get hot when they needed them too.

Plenty of talent left for a 2019-2022 run. We know they can compete with anyone, just need to be more consistent.

Even if some are a little too emotional to admit it now

The Browns allowed 9 points yesterday. HOU has 10.

Damn Chris...

We have the starters to compete, that remains our strength. We just need new faces in the pen and in the lineup.

Sorry, want to believe. But I dont. There are three mega teams with infinite resources we will need to contend with in the AL. Window is only really open a couple more years.

Just dont see how we get on their level.

Especially considering our key players are known playoff underperformers. Difficult to think this team can win a World Series. The “you just have to get in” mantra isn’t encouraging anymore with 100-win juggernauts lurking the AL depths.

Maybe we were only "good" this year because we played in a shitty division.

49-27 within the division.
42-44 outside the division.

This team just isn't that good. Add that on top of being notorious choke artists. This is the result when facing a great team.

Infinite resources are the key words. They just keep adding on and on. It sucks.

That’s well and fine. And I agree we have the “foundation” to be highly competitive for 19-22

But reducing it to “they didn’t get hot at the right time” completely absolves the truth that several key guys underperformed. Some all year. Some half the year. Some the last month or two.

It’s baseball, it happens, but call it what it is. This team, as a whole underperformed in the regular season and massively disappointed in the postseason.

Can't blame the front office. They delivered a talented team. When your best players literally stink this bad, whelp....

Jose was a hot mess.

Tito did a bad job in this series, too. But he's not why we're losing. The players stunk, and the Astros are miles better.

I'm telling you we just need to take a different approach. Don't blow it up or rebuild but we need to rebrand on and off the field.
