Cleveland Browns 2018 Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Thoughts after 6 games:
1. It was nice not to feel like i was about to have a heart attack at the end of the game.
2. Not really.
3. WTF
4. Baker played like poop.
5. Offense played like poop.
6. Defense played like something worse than poop.
7. Refs: still bags of poop.
8. Hue finally going for it... when we could have made it a one score game. So Hue. So poop.
9. I like Jabrill... he piled up a few nice punt returns. But he muffed one and got lucky, and I still have no idea how he fielded the very first one. That should have been another moment of poop.
10. My dog pooped at halftime.

I blame the choice of uniforms.

Browns are 2-0 in the color rush unis and 4-49-1 in these K-Mart looking knock offs since the 2015 season.

First game I have been to in 4 years. I quickly remembered why I haven't gone in so long. I can't even think of anything positive to take away from that shit show.

As bad as the game was, so many fans were even worse. So many unbearable drunk assholes filled with anger and hatred in that stadium.

My guess is we are just using him wrong. I feel like he could live on quick slants and using him on the inside more. Easier to bottle him up if he is out wide.

Haley and Hue seem to rather run quick slants for the guy with the worse hands in Njoku.

I'd like to see Njoku and Devalve use their size out wide. Mix them with Callaway so defenses have to account for speed or size on every play and matching up properly.

I was last there in 2012 against Washington. Told myself after that game I’d never go again. No matter where you sit, there is no escaping sheer debauchery and stupidity.

Personally I think it's half the fun of the game but you can usually escape it if you buy club seats.

I said that any coach worth a damn would absolutely abuse our over-aggressive defense. Guess we saw that today. Without all the turnovers, the defense was trash.

Haley continues to blow by mind with play-calling. The shovel pass on the two yard line was pretty great. Hate that we can't just line up and pound it in with Hyde. He's been great in those situations this year.

It’s pretty easy to have a great catch ratio when all you run is a four yard route tree, which is pretty much what he did in Miami.
I'll continue on with my stance that Jarvis is a household name because of PPR scoring in fantasy, not because he's a game changer.

The most disappointing thing is that a 2-2-1 team quit today pretty early on.

Pathetic effort by a lot of guys today. Just no fight at all.

I can deal with rooting for a team that makes mental mistakes or is still going through growing pains, but that dogshit effort today pissed me off

People were coming onto the Jarvis bandwagon and just like that everybody is off again...

I think we all assumed he'd look better with Baker under center like Duke and Njoku have. Instead, he's been significantly worse and it's starting to get concerning.

It'd be one thing if he just wasn't getting targeted but just taking the three games Baker has started he's still averaged just under ten targets a game, which is only about a target less than he averaged over weeks one and two (excluding week three because I don't feel like looking up how many passes he caught from Baker compared to Tyrod).
