And, for the record, the fact that the committee can/will put Alabama in after a SEC championship loss is a travesty. You shouldn't be able to lose a postseason game and stay in the title hunt, period. I don't care about getting in the playoffs, I think it'd end badly for us, but college football can be so dumb sometimes. Bad enough that Bama could lose the Iron Bowl and still win a title.

Great win. It always feels great to beat these guys but winning as an underdog for once is amazing. Kicking their ass and setting records in the process? Delightful. I know some people continue to fret about parity in the rivalry, but I will only start worrying about that once we take the all-time WL record from them.

This has been my rule with this.

If you cannot win your own conference? You should not be playing for the national championship.

Alabama should not have been playing in 2011. That game was a disgrace.
Alabama should not have been playing last year.

Notre Dame, and the service academies are the exception to this. Because well...they obviously cannot -win- a conference title.

ESPN can shove it up their ass. i blame them and Gary Danielson oogling over the SEC like Musburger does over college girls over this shit.

And screw everyone hoping Urban steps down so we can hire Lincoln Riley.

Alabama is beating everyone they play by 30+ points. No exceptions.

If Georgia beats them by a Hail Mary, I'm ok with them still getting in.

Most years no. But this honestly looks like one of the 3 or 4 best teams ever. Right there with 94 Penn State and 01 Miami.
