2018 NFL SEASON Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
AFC is wide open, imo. Chiefs, Patriots, Chargers, and Colts could all win and I wouldn’t be shocked. I still think this is the Saints’ season to lose, though.

The last time Breezy ran the table, he had he field advantage straight through to the Super Bowl, played in Miami. This year it looks like they will be in the Superdome until they make the Mercedes Benz Stadium retractable roof. I believe the Rams have been playing possum the past few weeks. If they want to ride Gurley the way they have been afraid to ride him lately, they can beat anyone.

The Chiefs faltering around playoff time was so predictable. Almost as predictable as a Chargers playoff flame out.

I think the Colts, Texans and Ravens are maybe the 3 best teams in the AFC at the moment. Texans are reeling with injuries though. I love the Colts, man. Luck is really coming on strong and their defense is awesome. The Ravens are one twisted ankle by Lamar away from being doomed. Even then they still might not get in.

But the Pats are really ordinary and I have no faith in either the Chiefs or Chargers. I think the Colts may take it this year, though. Just a guy feeling.

With a few moves, the AFC could be the Browns for YEARS. The AFC stinks.

Take it FWIW - one rumor going around the NFL. If the Raiders can’t find a city to take them for next year. The NFL is kicking around the idea of having them play their home games in London. It’d basically be a trial run to see how it could work in the future. Again, a rumor, take it FWIW.

I don't know if my liver could handle a whole season of games (or at least eight-plus) starting at 10am.

Heard the same thing at the DC Browns’ Backers this week. There is definitely noise around this rumor.

Everyone is still sleeping when those games are on.

Speak for yourself. I love when they start games at 10am. I wake up and football is already on and it lasts all goddamn day. It's great.

Just not sure I'm prepared for 8+ weeks of it.

I'm still hung over at 10am and in bed.

Would they really start all 8 of them at 10am though? I'd imagine they would start most of them at 1pm like most of the other games here, which would be 6pm in London. And the occasional 10am game here or there.

If games are starting at 10am now my Sunday's will be completely shot. :chuckle:

Have to pay attention now that the Browns should be decent.

Darnold always has that look on his face as if he doesn't even know his own name.

Didn't realize is if KC loses and NE wins, NE would get the number one seed. I don't think they'll lose to the Raiders, but they're playing better lately. And well, KC's defense sucks.

That would be demoralizing. Because they're not going to Foxborough and winning.
